Or, if we want a closer-to-home criminal, Bam Morris.

It's true if you have a good offensive line.

GoHuge 11-21-2007 11:47 AM

Given that running back is the easiest position to "plug a guy into" I think it is insane that the Chiefs are in this position. I'm sure this drum has been beaten on this subject, but this makes Carl and the Chiefs player personell people look completely incompetent. Letting Bennett go, thinking a 34 year-old guy that hasn't played in over two years can carry the load, is insane!! The running back situation, the kicker, and the state of the offensive line all fall on the feet of Carl and his boys. I've never been one to sit here and call for his firing, but this is a culmination of all his screw ups that just happen to have come together all at once to show how bad this front office has gotten. It is time for a change. Will it happen? Of course not, but when your incompetence is getting national attention Clark might want to step in.

You think Michael Bennett would really make a difference this season? We got 2 picks for him and he's an UFA once the season is over.

If we ever got to the point where Michael Bennett was going to have to be our workhorse the season wouldn't have much going for it. I'd rather bring in some scrub to tote the rock and get picks for the future. Bennett's almost 30 himself.

I'm with ya except for the Bennett take. We got draft picks for him and I'm oaky with that.
