I've got an inch on the ground...and freezing roads, just in time to leave for the holiday travel.

the freezing part sucks

I'm about to drive 9 hours from Denver to Ark City, KS. There's probably about 2 inches on the ground here, but hopefully the roads won't be too bad.

not freezing here yet, but it's supposed to start soon.

shouldn't matter too much, since we're only going 30miles to the mother-in-laws tomorrow.

Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

It sucks that I don't know hardly anyone around here. I always end up driving to St. Joe over the weekends to see friends and family. Oh, and to find a place that's playing something besides country music 24/7.
