Since when is bowling expensive? Are you kidding me? Bowling is very cheap entertainment. You ever tried golf? One days golfing round might cost you one hundred dollars

When did bowling become addictive?

Texas State? ROFL They visited my university and got their asses whooped on the football field. I was surprised to see about fifty fans there though. Dedicated sons a bitches.

Also - a lot of the alleys around here have a college night type thing where you pay 8-10 bucks for all night bowling with shoe rental included. Cheap beer as well.

OK. When I was in Korea the only place on the base that sold beer after 1 AM was the bowling alley. So a group of us would leave the NCO club to go "bowl". Never got hooked.

Does the clip art mean "discuss"?

well ours is about 14 dollars for 2 games and i agree our teams sucks we have more kids than texas tech and still suck D 1 AA shit

ChiefsLV 11-21-2007 09:30 PM

Yeah I used to bowl for a dollar a game at the Showboat/Castaways here in Vegas. But after they imploded it, the cheapest anywhere else was in the range of $3 a game w/ rediculous shoe rental prices. So I pretty much stopped playing. That and it got kinda old for me.

I've recently taken up frisbee golf. Fun stuff, we'll see how long it stays that way.

Don't feel too bad. We just knocked off North Dakota State (ranked #1 in D 1AA) to take our conference championship.

Great ****ing Game.

You should suggest to the bowling alley management to do these all night deals. The lanes are packed on those nights and they probably make more money than regular, pay-per-game nights.

So stop going and work on homework. I'm sure you have some essays that need grammar work.

Bowling is generally cost friendly when you think about how long you are being entertained...

You should be attending MU. They crank that kind out by the thousands.

Well, bowling is fairly inexpensive..because I hardly ever bowl. Given the choice of cheap entertainment, I'm much more likely to buy a couple of pitchers of beer and play darts for a few hours with my $10.

That being said, if you've got $250, buy a Wii.

Wii bowling isn't a perfect substitute but it is downright addictive. Get a few buddies and some booze and I guarantee you can play for hours on end. There's not as much talent required, but it's almost as fun as the real thing and you don't have to drive your drunk ass home either.

Phobia 11-21-2007 11:58 PM

I like nearly every sport I've tried - which is why I won't even try some sports, such as skydiving. I'm guessing that could get expensive if I got hooked.

But bowling? I hate that sport. Honestly, I'd rather toss beanbags.
