Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Don't know 'bout elsewhere, but it is snowing quite hard here in Eudora...some big old fat flakes. I love it, especially since I don't have to work or even leave the house today for that matter. Let it snow!

chagrin 12-06-2007 11:09 AM

it's 82 here today

I have 10 inches here in Tulsa.

alanm 12-06-2007 11:15 AM

We're in a winter storm watch for tomorrow thru mid day Saturday in Western Ne. I don't think it's the same system that hit you guys though. I hope we get pounded. We never get a lot of snow here and when we do it's usually gone within a day or 2.

QuikSsurfer 12-06-2007 11:17 AM

snowing pretty hard in westport

Pablo 12-06-2007 11:17 AM

Coming down hard and fast here in good old NW Missouri. Already got an inch since about 10, probably gonna get a whole lot worse judging by how fast it's falling.

I'm a grow-er, not a show-er. Give it time, I'll turn a mound into a mountain.

Eh, Sometime in January I'll be envious of that forecast. Right now give me some snow. Winter is like a long fall here. Sunny with temps usually in the 40's and 50's.

Bowser 12-06-2007 11:22 AM

Snow sucks. **** this shit.

Nzoner 12-06-2007 02:24 PM

Half of the damn idiots I've seen today while trying to get my job done need to be walking because they sure as hell have no clue of how to drive in snow.

Ahh, the annual "I have no idea how to drive on this stuff. God help us all!!!" first snowfall. Amazing how some (a lot of) people just don't realize
you can't drive on snowpacked roads like you do every other day when the streets are dry. It's really a quite simple concept. Snow/ice = loss of traction.

Awesome, we got our first snow Tuesday and people were slidding off the road all over the place, and driving 45mph on the highway. In OH we have about 3-4 inches where im at, and are suppose to get 1-3 tonight.

RockChalk 12-06-2007 03:32 PM

i counted probably 12 vehicles that had spun off on K-10 and 435-South in a matter of about 10 minutes spanning about 5 miles. pretty sad really...

i can't wait for the typical k-10 jackasses that still try to go about 80 to attempt to pass me on the way home tonight!!

The Rick 12-06-2007 04:19 PM

Here in Wisconsin, we've had over 11 inches fall so far between two snowstorms since the first of December. We're looking at another 4 inches tonight, then more on Saturday.

:shake:

Bob Dole 12-06-2007 04:23 PM

It's supposed to be almost 80 degrees here tomorrow.

Ahhhhh.

RealSNR 12-06-2007 04:25 PM

Snow sucks. And so does Skip.

With or without the gag ball? It would make a difference...

Eleazar 12-06-2007 05:18 PM

So is Katie Horner monopolizing the airwaves today once again?
