How much of the game did you actually watch?
I watched Denver go through our D like a high school team on the first drive and switched to the Squeelers / Pats game.
|
I watched about a quarter and a half. Honestly, I woke up from a nap around 2:40 and had totally forgotten about the game until I turned on the TV and looked at the DirecTV guide. Sad but true.
I started doing other things when Page totally wiffed on Young on his first big run - how embarrassing. From then on I tuned in and out while doing other stuff. |
I, being the glutton for punishment that I am, watched the entire thing while playing army men and dinosaurs with my son. Army men are fun, even when you aren't using matches and firecrackers.
|
fire"themans". That is funny.
|
All of it. I didn't want to disappoint Percy Snow.
|
Halftime.
|
Overall about 1/2 of the game. I had the Chiefs on one TV and was playing COD4 on another. Needless to say I was far more interested in COD4.
|
none. Squeelers and Pats here
|
Not one play. The last time I didn't watch a game (until this last one) was 7 years ago when I had to work on a Sunday. I tracked it online, but watched the Pats and Steelers. I just didn't feel like dropping 50 bucks at the bar to watch them lose to the friggin Donks. I guess I'm a bad fan.
|
I tuned out 6 minutes into the 3rd qtr. Shut off the TV, radio and did something more enjoyable with the family.
|
Watched all but the last 2 minutes. I knew we weren't going to win this one and was just interested in looking at the younger guys. Coming to grips with that really helped me not get ballistic with this non-performance.

had the whole thing on the 2nd TV, but paid more attention to the kiddy porn on the big screen.
then fell asleep |

I was so pissed off I didn't watch any of it. Well, that and it wasn't shown here.
|
I watched 14-0 and then another 3 and out, turned Holtus on pretty high volume and preceded to 'rest' my eyes...of course I woke up to the final score being announced as 41-7 and was totally impressed we managed to score a TD.
|
Your commitment to your values is admirable, Mr. Skip Towne.
I came in late to the game due to the dang holidays. Somewhere in the 2nd quarter, I believe. We were already down 14 points and we started the 8 minute drive for the touchdown thing. I thought, "Hey! Wow! A touchdown thing!". Then it all sort of went downhill from there. Lenny was extremely pissed most of the day. FAX |
I missed the first few minutes, so when I turned on the TV we were already down 14-0. I watched most of the rest of the first half, but got too disgusted to keep watching after the third Donx scoring drive, which featured perhaps the poorest defensive effort I have ever seen in my life, in any game by any team at any level.
After that, I'd check the score occasionally, and every time I turned on the TV we'd surrended another touchdown. Wretched. Absolutely wretched. :shake: |
I didn't watch a single minute of it
|
i watched the 3rd qtr.
|
I watched until halftime.
|
I watched most of the first half, but was regularly checking in on the Charger/Titans game.
I watched probably 15 minutes of the second half, the rest of the time I watched the second half of Chargers/Titans game. I did something really strange, never done it before. While the Chiefs were playing, I spent about 10 minutes in the kitchen making a salad. Thanks Herm! You have released me from my Chiefs obsession! |
I watched both teams first two drives. Then I played some Madden....came back....saw 41-7 and proceeded to laugh.

I was working on Sunday, unexpectedly. To think I was initially pissed about having to miss the game...I got home just in time for the Donx kneel down to end it. It was good to see our defense make at least one stop on the day...
...heheheh... |
For the first time since Marty came to town, I watched less than 10 mins of that travesty.

Not much, with 5 late games on yesterday I was paying much more attention to the Pats/Steelers,Cards/Seahawks Browns/Jets and even Vikings/49ers because I had fantasy players in all of them.
|
I didn't watch any of it live. I rebuilt my nesting area for my Hens, expanded it from 2 two 4 nests.
I sped through the game on my Tivo last night. I didn't even bother to hide myself from the outcome earlier in the day as I knew they were going to lose. |
at the 41 point mark I switched to Lonesome Dove.
|
I saw the highlights on NBC, does that count? I guess that makes about 30 seconds or so.
|
none. I haven't even had the TV on the last 2 games. It's just too painful watching the Keystone Kansas City Chiefs.

Every single stinking play....
|
Every single ****in' second. I'm a masochist.
|
Luckily the power was out here for the first half and part of the 3rd quarter. Listened to the rest of the game.
|
I had it on in front of me the whole time but kinda stopped paying attention in the second half. Wish I coulda seen the Pats game, frankly.
|
I don't get to see that many Chiefs games here in New Mexico so I always watch when I can. Yesterday, however, was an exception. We had a few errands to run so my wife asked me if I wanted to be home in time for one of the late games. Nope, not today. When we did get home I turned on the TV to check the score....34-7 I believe. I went outside and put up some Christmas lights, then I hung a picture and a mirror. I'd been saying I would get that done for a month. The only thing good I can say for this Chiefs season is that my honey-do list has been shrinking.
I doubt if I watched more than 30 seconds of the game. |
I felt a lot less guilty about flipping to the IA/ISU wrestling meet on public television. #3 IA upset #1 ISU, who had just beaten the previous #1 team. Good matches.
The game was bad enough, I saw less poo changing 3 diapers on a diarhea'd 2 year old. |
0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds.
Best sunday in a while frankly. :deevee: |
All of it.
I felt depressed enough that my wife made cookies for me in the 1st half, which on a full stomach made it easier to laugh in the 2nd half. |
Shamefully, i watched it all!
|
watched the entire 1st half then multi tasked during the 2nd half.

I watched it from when it cut in 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter though the 3rd quarter flipping though the commercials on DVR.
I probably watched about an hours worth of TV time. They're pretty dreadful to watch. :( |
The whole thing, lucked into an i-net feed right before kickoff. Watched in the study on the PC.
Now, I was folding clothes and snarking on the BB alternately at the same time. |

Depends on how you define "watched." I watched the first half live. I paused the DVR at halftime for about an hour , then sped through the entire second half in about 15 minutes.
|
I went to the bar so I didn't have to watch it, but I still glanced over to it when the other games were at commercials.
|
i watched the whole first half, listened to the 3rd qtr on my way home from a family party, then watched the 4th qtr....i really don't know why though
while watching the first half with family, i laughed more than i have in a really long time though, so thank you Carl and Herm for providing that |
I had tickets to the 12:30 Clippers-Heat game at Staples (center court, 15 rows from the floor-I couldn't just blow them off), so I recorded the game on two TV's in the house (not knowing in which room I'd watch). It was next to impossible to avoid the NFL scores at the game because they were flashing everywhere, but somehow, I managed to see them completely.
With the wife out of town, I ordered pizza and chilled some Mexican cerveza. I watched the game in its entirety, though I did skip the commercials and half-time. Even though the final score was a disaster, I was thrilled with the lone touchdown drive. 3/3 on fourth down, the grittiness of Croyle and the amazing will of Tony Gonzalez. If only that would drive could have been replicated a few more times throughout the game. Alas, there's always next year. |

Quick note: Shaq is done. I loved the guy in a Laker's uni but he wouldn't even a take shot. The cool thing was that my buddy is friends with the Heat's head assistant coach so we had court passes after the game. I'm 6'1 and felt like a midget. |

Couldn't help sneaking a peek, huh? Like driving by an accident scene. You know you shouldn't look but you do it anyway. |

I get brownie points for getting the honey-do's finished and bonus points for not being in the crappy mood I would have been in had I actually watched the game. I never would have thought that Carl and Herm could improve my sex life. |
The Chargers/Titans game went into overtime so by the time the Chargers were done lucking out ** and winning a game that they never should have won and they switched to the Chiefs game they were already behind by 14 - 0. I was so pissed off and in a bad mood I went outside and worked in the yard (stupid nice weather) because I needed too avoid my wife because I was afraid that she would ask me some stupid question and I would get in more pissed off.* :cuss:
**(the 4th down play that kept the Chargers drive alive so that they could tie the game too send it into overtime was a trapped ball and then they won the coin toss) |
Watched most of it. I missed some becuase i had to make room and move shit around for the Xmas tree.
|
What "game"?
|
Watched the whole frickin' disaster ... we need some coachin' bad ... plus O & D linemen ....
|
5 minutes.....then F'd with Steeler fans...
|
I was there all 4 qtrs in denver, after the game we proceeded to go get super drunk at the bubba gump shrimp place right next to our hotel, where the chiefs stayed as well. we told the front desk to not let them back in
|
Stayed until they scored the td that put them up 34-7. Left with most of the rest of the "crowd". Hell, they had fewer seats filled than the Chiefs/Raiders game I was at over TG weekend.
Best part of the day was walking out and a donky fan said - "I can't gloat, we just sucked less than you today." |

|
I watched up until the last TD.
Oh, and I was at the game in ****ing 20-30 degree weather near the top of pile high while the lights showered us with ice melt. |
I watched the whole ****in' thing waiting for them to switch to the Pats game...
|
I haven't missed watching a game since I started following the Chiefs back in '94, except once when I went to a panthers game during the 13-3 season. We lost to cincy that game, and I blamed myself for it. That said- I gave up on the second drive in the third qtr. I couldnt do it any longer. I found myself getting too angry to justify watching something I knew was inevitable.
|
I watched about 75% of the first half. Then I got up and drove 15 minutes away to play pick-up volleyball. Due to the weather, the volleyball turnout was horrible so I played 2 games of 2 on 2 and came home. I half napped/half watched until there were 3 minutes remaining in the game and then turned on the new DieHard to watch with friends. John MacClain destroyed the bad guys almost as badly as the Broncos destroyed the Chiefs.

I didn't watch it at all. I had to run sound at our Christmas musical but I still wouldn't have bothered turning it on anyway. That says alot for me.

Some of you so-called "fans" who turn off the game make me sick. I want to see every throw Brodie Croyle makes, and I want to see every catch Dwayne Bowe makes. That alone is reason to watch every second of every game.
|
I quit paying attention after 14-0, and turned it off to go watch NE/Pittsburgh after the Chiefs' first punt in the second half. By the time I had gotten to the bar some 7 miles away, it had gone from 24-7 to 41-7 :shake:
The best game of the weekend was NWMSU... and I hope they provide the game of the week next weekend, too. Quote:
Seriously though, it's a nice thought to still want to watch Jared get after it when he wants to, and to watch Croyle, Bowe, etc... but, say you've just watched the first half... do you really think you're going to see amazing potential from anyone or some great plays on offense in the second half? |
No matter how bad it gets, I will watch all of the game as I did yesterday

Chiefs lose, 41-7. If anything, it takes much less time. Guess it depends if you're a 'rip it off' person or 'peel a little for 3.5 hours' person. |
