Heh, Bellicheck couldn't get the flag out in time.

chiefsfan987 01-12-2008 07:23 PM

hahaha I think that may have been reversed. Thanks for not challenging NE!

kcxiv 01-12-2008 07:24 PM

He should have thrown the flag. That could cost them big time.

Chiefs=Champions 01-12-2008 07:24 PM

F^&*&* TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach 01-12-2008 07:24 PM

Clutch. Jags got lucky that they got the snap off in time before the challenge flag came out.

eazyb81 01-12-2008 07:24 PM

Nice start.....GO JAGS!!!

kstater 01-12-2008 07:24 PM

Props to Jacksonville for hustling to get the kick off.

It should have already been in his hand. There is no reason for him to not throw it. This is the play offs. YOu have to challenge that shit.

Demonpenz 01-12-2008 07:25 PM

jags are what the chiefs are trying to be pound the ball and play defense

Maybe so, but it was a good choice to go for it. Set the tone while you still can.

Even if you lose the challenge its not a bad one. Not in the play offs.

i would love it if the Pats lost tonight after going 16-0.

I don't think that style works nearly as well if you don't have a mobile QB that scares the defense.

Chiefs=Champions 01-12-2008 07:29 PM

Sack!!!

Too close to call. Gotta still challenge it. If they got it, they got it, but if it was overturned, down by contact, it would have been 4th down, and instead of six, plus PAT, it would have been three, or a slight chance of a missed FG.

I disagree.

It's early in the game, and you only get two of them per game.

Save it for a situation that you have a real chance to win a challenge.

They would not have won that one.

Coach 01-12-2008 07:31 PM

Huge loss on a 3rd and 2.

the Talking Can 01-12-2008 07:31 PM

boy do we need some DTs like that

doomy3 01-12-2008 07:31 PM

I can't believe Belichick didn't challenge that TD.

It's history, this is the "get over it lounge"

Coach 01-12-2008 07:32 PM

Nice playcall by the Pats on a 4th and 4.

doomy3 01-12-2008 07:32 PM

4th and 4 doesn't even faze the Pats

I thought it was pretty clear that the ball was out before the knee hit, hence a bad challenge.

Replays shows that it was very close. It could have gone either way.

the Talking Can 01-12-2008 07:34 PM

geez the pats make it look easy

Calcountry 01-12-2008 07:35 PM

Sammy Knight got beat, ha ha

visual evidence to overturn

Even if it was very close (not how I saw it), there has to be clear visual evidence to overturn.

There wasn't clear evidence, clearly, since even we disagree what the replay showed.

kcxiv 01-12-2008 07:35 PM

Knight Stood no chance even if he did turn around in time. He's not tall enough. lol

Chiefs=Champions 01-12-2008 07:36 PM

Dammm

Demonpenz 01-12-2008 07:36 PM

Well to be honest his shin was down before the ball was out. He was in throwing motion but his shin was down. They said the shin is a knee. To me thats pretty damned clear. Ball in hand, shit was down.

After about a minute, you realize it is all over, and nothing is going to ever change or give your side another chance, so you just walk away.

Actually, I thought it was his thight muscle that was down first, and since it is above the nee, it should count as an ass.

Coach 01-12-2008 07:42 PM

Awww shit, fumbled it away.

Hell no, they don't miss Leftwich.

kcxiv 01-12-2008 07:46 PM

27 made a pathetic effort almost KC like for a tackle.

Coach 01-12-2008 07:49 PM
