Are we really expected to put that much effort into a Blocking FBOTF? He's not a LT, sign a blocking FB for one year just to have one... |
He definitely doesnt fit our youth movement, but if he would be willing to take the vet minimum he could really help LJ. It doesnt make sense though for the simple fact that this will be a rebuilding year so whats the point.
|
Lets take him for a year, then once the show is over, take him out back and give him the old yeller treatment.

Neal is 37, and told the Chargers that he wanted out because he didn't want to take reduced playing time in the offense. He would work as a 1 to 2 year stop gap, even though the 07 season showed a drop off in his ability to meet the linebacker in the hole. He keeps himself in great shape, and I don't know if he'll take the veteran minimum though.

But..........But..............But................WHAT ABOUT BOOMER!!!!!!

Boomer sucks goat dick.
The Chiefs just need to make drafting a FB a priority. No more stop-gaps if we can find younger longer-term answers. |
we never should have gotten rid of T-Rich damnit

Chan hasn't been all kinds of fruity at fullback. He's basic. They block. Now and again they run a trick play. Perhaps a carry a game. That's it. If the past is any place to judge from that's all we need. |
I'm all for the youth movement, but a 1 year deal for Neal would be just fine with me.
On the younger side, Thomas Tapeh of the Eagles would be interesting. |
We still have to fill a roster the best we can.
If we have to go old do it on the line or with a blocking FB. DON'T do it at CB, HB, DT, or S... |
too old...
