Help....I'm addicted to Guitar Hero.
 

For the longest time I've always though that Guitar Hero looked like some lame ass game. That is until I bought it for my brother for his birthday....and played it last night. Now I'm addicted to this damn game.

Anybody else play?

I did. Then I realized that as much time as I was putting into it would be better spent on my real guitar. I'm not one of those guys, I know it's totally different. I just decided if I had that kind of time for a guitar game, I'd rather play my guitar.

yep its awesome I have to not play it for a while so I don't become addicted it is very addicting

yes i love the game though its fun :) try playing freebird a few times in a row and your fingers will fall off :) that will help you kick the habit ;)

I'm one of those guys that has no "real" guitar skills. I use this to look cool. lol

LMAO We have that in common. I've been playing for a few years and have no "real" guitar skills. I just dink around it. Learn cool licks and what not. I loved guitar hero for a minute, but wasn't prepared to spend the time to master expert mode.

lol, dude, dont play it too many hours for too many days. When i first got part 2, i went all crazy on it. Then a few days later my forearms got so damned sore, it hurt like a bitch. I couldnt barely move my arms for like 2 days.

In call of Duty, there's a timer in your profile, says how much playing time you've had. I'm nearing 7 days. Damn.
I bet Wa-Z is nearing two weeks.

I am in that boat. I am tired of hearing about it from my friends who play it endlessly.

That's what I used to think. I actually played it last night. It turns out that it's pretty entertaining and really addictive.

guitar hero is pretty cool, but I do think time would be better spent on a real guitar.

I've heard that Rock Band is actually easier than Guitar Hero when it comes to the actual guitar aspect. And I'll actually probably buy it so that the rest of my family can play along at the same time.
