Didnt see a thread about it, Ok State and Texas Tech is on ESPN2 right now.

Kind of disappointed by the attendance.....looks light on tv.

I thought KC would come out in full support since it was back in town and the first at Sprint Center, but guess not.

Its opening round, never that full besides its Oklahoma State and Texas Tech that is part of the reason. Night cap should be pretty full with Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa State all playing.

Opening round used to be packed back at Kemper in the 90's. This looks just like the attendance at American Airlines Arena in Dallas.

Colorado is upsetting Baylor at the half.

Colorado up 44-31 on Baylor at the half. That's unexpected (by me at least). I thought it would be KU - Baylor in the championship game on Sunday.

If Colorado pulls the upset and hopefully Iowa State does to, means 7 of the Big 8 schools will be in the Friday portion.

What channel is Colorado - Baylor on?

Its ESPN+, whatever affilate in Tulsa carries that.

I would imagine the attendance was low because no one gives a crap about OSU and Texas Tech. It will fill up tonight I'm sure.

Got back a little bit ago. That second game was outfreakin' standing. I thought for sure that Baylor would find a way to win with three of CU players having fouled out. Robey went both overtimes with 4 fouls, and should've got a call early in the first OT, but they didn't call it.

Parking is a bitch! All the lots are full during the day with people that work downtown. Found a spot 6 blocks away for a few quarters and hiked it. Used the 30 bucks I saved on parking for lunch at Gordon Biersch.

I dunno, that was like 4 days ago. ;) Nothing like, OMG Mizzou is going to romp the Huskers, but I saw a few 'MU/KU will be a great Friday night game for the Sprint Center'.

I'm in Omaha the week of the Big 12 tournament in KC, and then I'm spending my 3 day weekend next week in Kansas City while the Jayhawks are (probably) in Omaha. :banghead: I guess it'll save me quite a bit of money, and time hanging out at the arenas trying to find tickets.

My TV says this broadcast is in 1080i. No way this is anywhere near 1080i quality picture.

I'm having sound problems. I haven't heard the announcers all game including the halftime show. I hear the crowd and the sounds of the game but that's it.

only way KU gets a #1 seed is if they win the Big 12 Tourney AND beat Texas doing it.

Plus it wouldn't hurt for Ten., UCLA, UNC or Memphis to tumble once.

But really, It doesn't matter to me, I'm happy with a # 2, to be the best you have to beat them anyways. The # 1's have a bigger chip on their shoulders to burden.
