Rennovation Q&A
This isn't the most well-written thing ever but there are 2 very interesting tidbits. This clears up many of the questions I've seen floating around this off-season.

did anyone ask how to spell renovation?
j/k... |
My right index finger disagrees with everybody else.
|
sorry, spelling blasts are lame...couldn't help myself...
|
I think they're great - especially against idiots who fancy themselves journalists - or even hobbyists, such as myself. One would think a moron who just completed a "rennovation" column would know how to spell the word especially when it shows a giant red underline under the misspelling just prior to submitting the spam.

ok, I'll read the article now |
I can't believe you morons are clamoring for Chiefs news and this is some of the best Chiefs news in a month and nobody cares. Honestly, the bit about the Founders Club seems to be completely new. The turf clarification is important as well.
There's good information here. |
Observations:
1) There will be more than a dozen posts on CP asking why the new Sprint Turf hasn't been installed yet in Arrowhead. Personally, I'm glad they are going to play on a natural surface (be it grass, dirt or mud). 2) I'll miss the troughs. To me that was the biggest news in the Q&A. |

The statue sounds cool.

Mr. Goatse, you don't have permission to post that information. I'd appreciate it if you'd take it down. I'm not charging for it and I'm not asking anybody for a nickel but I would appreciate a unique hit out of everybody who chooses to read it. I went to a great deal of effort to make this possible for people and I don't appreciate you stealing my material.

Heh. I figured it was just lip-service.

Sweet, thanks for the info phobia...I was kind of bummed out by the idea of Arrowhead being a turf field. Kind of draws the franchise away from the "tradition" orientation I whole-heartedly respect them for.
Good work. Oh yeah... way to put Goatse in his place! |
that Fatchatter site kicks ass!!

Hey did Jim ever call you?? It was a pretty bad deal how my company treated him: 3 kids Wife has breast cancer just refinanced his home and gets a phone call-no warning or nothing I just wanted to help the guy out-I felt bad for him. You would think the douche bag that fired him would have had the balls to come out and face him instead of hiding in his office. |
Yeah Jim called me. He's been working with us a week. I kinda like the guy.

About a month ago i listened to one of the red zone podcasts that they have on kcchiefs.com where Soren Petro talked with Rufus err Bob Moore about the Lamar Statue and all that. Forgot all about that and the turf stuff before reading that.
I'm suprised that after the sprinturf thing came out it wasn't addressed sooner. I remember in one of J. Flanagan's top of the morning articles, he talked with George Toma the turf guru about the poor condition of the field. His advice was to get him there and fix that mess. Hopefully something comes to "fluition"(hermslang). Anyway, good q/a session. Maybe you could keep that up and ask some questions that don't get answered that people would like to see answered. |
Nice post, Boog. I don't follow the Petro podcast, regrettably.
I welcome and even solicit questions for my columns. This column was no exception - you can see the progression of the thread and the appearance of several user submitted questions within the column. |
Goin all GoChiefs on us and promoting through articles huh? ;)
Good info, though. |
