KU-Memphis Replay
 

The championship game replay is on ECL at 6 PM. Directv channel 208.

KCTV is also reairing the game at 10:35 tonight.

I don't know what the deal is but the title header says college basketball but they are showing boxing.

It's on the CBS College Sports channel right now. But it's been playing all week, so that's nothing new.

Eh, that's nice but I will have it on my dvr for a long time. :)

I recorded the CBSCollege sports channel version last night. It is only two hours long, has the entire game, every play, and barely any commercials at all. It has the introductions before the game, no interviews at half, and no post game stuff.

I can't decide if I should keep that on my DVR and erase the 3 hour 30 minute version with pre and post game stuff, or keep them both, or what. I have limited space on my DVR, and I am just not sure what I will regret deleting.

Can you transfer the game onto a VCR tape and just store the tape?

I thought the UCLA, Texas, and Michigan State games were better, personally.

I need to get a dvdrecorder. Well, I need to find a job first, then I have to get the tattoo I vowed to get, years ago, if KU won a National Championship (can't tempt karma) and then I need to get a dvdrecorder.

I saw your posts on one of the Memphis boards, saying you were going to win. I am thinking about going over the game, play by play, and marking the time of each bad call (against or for KU) because most of the people on the Memphis boards think that the Tigers did not commit one foul, and that KU hacked away the whole game without getting called for it.

I initially went to post there about how much I admired CDR and his post game maturity, and to congratulate them on an outstanding season, but I just get pissed reading all the posts about us cheating and not deserving to even be on the court with Memphis.

There are some classy Memphis fans, and I think you fall into that catergory, but I am sick of the media and fans saying we were handed the game.

Yes, I posted a thread saying we were going to win at halftime because I honestly felt that way. With as poorly as things went in the first half, I thought we had a good chance to get back in it and take the game back. And seeing as it went to OT and took a series of miracles (that is to say, excellent execution on KU's behalf, in case you think I'm trying to downplay the greatness of their play) to even do so in the first place, I'm not ashamed of my confidence in the amazing ****ing team I've followed.

But this next part of your post is disturbing. You're saying... let me try to comprehend this... you're saying that team message boards feature people whining about bad calls and going batshit insane during and after a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?

I know....................I was shocked too. I could not believe it when I read those posts, but then I remembered that I drove through Memphis once, and it all made sense. Kidding!

Seriously, I know that is what fans do on their own boards (I have been a member of this board for 8 years) but I have to stand up for my school and our players. My pride in being a Jayhawk fan prompts me to give these assclowns the facts.

I noticed also that KU ran the game tie-ing play earlier in the game at 9:52 mark of the second half. Missed.

It was weird to see that play and have it miss.
