What's the play for the Rams?

Draft Chris Long and keep Carriker at DT?

Draft Dorsey and move Carriker back out to DE? (Where personally, I think he'd be more productive)

Can anyone really see them taking anyone other than those two?

since its not official until hes drafted couldnt this be the mother of all smokescreens?

Everyone and their mom has said Dorsey for the last few days.

I personally think that they need a pass rusher. Keep Carriker at DT and draft Chris Long.

Folks here in STL have discussed both ad nauseum.

I personally think Dorsey makes more sense, then move Carriker back out to DE.

If Leonard Little can stay healthy and return to form, they'll have a damn solid front 4 with Little, Clifton Ryan, Carriker and Dorsey/Long.

Raiders-McFadden/Ellis
Chiefs-C.Long and trade JA

Personally I want to keep JA but I can see this scenario happening. There is strong opinions the last two days that Al would pass on Long.

They are having a presser to announce the deal in about 5 minutes on espn news.

I'd guess Dorsey.

3) Dorsey ((or trade down with the Ravens/Saints)
4) McFadden
5) Dorsey/Ellis

I'll say Dorsey.

People forget that it wasn't just Carriker -- Glover was a good rookie DT last year too. The Rams aren't as soft up the middle as they used to be.

But they are completely bankrupt for a passrush. Chris Long would be a great pick for them.

The Phins sign the #1 overall pick 5 days before the draft but it took the Faiders till September last year to sign theirs. :)

Glover? He's like 800 years old.

You mean Clifton Ryan.

And either would be a great pick for the Rams. They have no depth at either position, DE or DT.

I think they go with Chris Long.

Gholston on Turf. His speed will fit the Rams very well.

The Rams have said they are not interested in Gholston.

Which does lead you to believe they are.

My money is on C. Long

Chris Long in a no-brainer.

Long is silly good. You know he's going to be successful...the guy is a monster and he has a non-stop motor.

I think they should just take Brandon Albert.

I think they will take Glen Dorsey. I wouldn't be suprised if they took C.Long though, as an heir apparent to Leonard Little.
