Someone needs to send a note to Detroit that the season started over a month ago.

Its kind of like a no-limit poker tournament. You dont win in the first half, your only trying to survive and accumulate wins. You can lose and get knocked out in the early going, though.

I'm really impressed with the Royals. This home series is a microcosm of the season, in some ways, the way they keep fighting when things look bleak. No way in hell did I think they'd finish it 5-5, and no way did I think they'd still be within sniffing distance of .500. They just won't go away.

The Royals are looking pretty good, hopefully the Chiefs can do the same this year
