I'm not a big NBA fan anymore. I kinda dislike them all just some more than others. The Spurs however are okay in my book.

Not as much as I hate Kobe and Phil Jackson. I'm surprised those egos can fit in the same arena. I'm pulling for whoever comes out of the East. I think it will be Boston, but Detroit would probably be the tougher matchup for the Lakers.

i'll go as far to say that if any team in the nba makes it to the finals i'm not watching. pro basketball has a zero appeal rating for me.

I don't know about the ratings, it just hasn't been the same since MJ left to me. It could also be the rise of the NFL and it overshadowing the NBA also that makes it appear that way.

But honestly, TV is so fragmented and specialized now, Network TV isnt what it used to be.

Heck, who doesnt at least have basic network cable these days?? Thats usually what TNT, TBS, ESPN play on.

Finally, someone agrees with me that that was an amazing NBA Finals, and I'm a Piston fan. It went to game 7 tied going into the 4th quarter. How can anyone say other?

I know you're right. Maybe it's just because I'm rooting for the Celtics. I haven't watched the NBA playoffs in forever. Are the Celtics and Lakers still major rivals like they were in the Magic Johnson/Larry Bird days?
