Tiger's Season Finished to Surgery

http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=3450453

Tough break for the best golfer in history.

Mr. Plow 06-18-2008 10:11 AM

Damn that's rough.

Gonzo 06-18-2008 10:13 AM

Suck

Thig Lyfe 06-18-2008 10:37 AM

Wow, missing the Open and the PGA after never missing a major must hurt something fierce.

But sweet gawd, 5 for 7 must be the highest season win percentage in the history of professional golf.

Mr. Arrowhead 06-18-2008 10:39 AM

you could tell at the US open, that he just wanted to burst and start balling, because of the pain.

Micjones 06-18-2008 10:40 AM

How many golfers just breathed a collective sigh of relief?

Take your time coming back Tiger.

Yeah, more time in the rack with Elin wouldn't suck (or would it:p)

I've always been really tough on Tiger, but knowing what I now do about what he went through at the US Open, I'm just in awe.

Two stress fractures and a blown ACL (that's been effed up for 10 months).

That's just gotta be a sick amount of pain.

Props to one tough sonofabitch.

If only the PGA allowed Karts, it would get him back out there faster!

That sucks! Basketball is over, Tiger's out. What the hell am I going to do on the week-ends! I suppose I can spend time with my family. Geesh.

The US Gymnastics Olympics trials begin this weekend. You can always see if any 16-year-old girl uses the crowbar approach (ala Tonya Harding) to land on the Olympic Team.

Also swimming & diving trials are this weekend BTW.

I forgot about that. This is great news! I love to watch 16 year old female gymnasts. Thanks!

Maybe John Daly will show up for this one...you could follow him around on Friday and Saturday and probably be quite entertained. ;)

3rd of 4th FedEx Cup playoff events.

Daly won't even be invited.

If he were playing, though, I'd have to follow him on Thursday and hope he got the round in before he withdrew.

Ah, I see. Phil Mickelson is entertaining, I would watch him if Tiger were not around. Rocco was fun to watch. There really are not enough guys on tour now with the "personalities" of some of the old guys, guys that were fun to listen to and watch like Chi Chi, Lee Trevino and Arny just to name a few. Peter Jacobsen is fun but his game has went south. Just sayin'.

How good has Tiger Woods been since he says he injured his ACL running at home after last year's British Open? Look at his results (he also played on the U.S. Presidents Cup team) The two stress fractures occured when he was rehabbing his knee after his surgery in April.
