I may be from Springfield, but it's technically not a Springfield get-together. :)

No-can-do on Friday, but where are you tailgating/sitting for the game?

I'll probably try to park in Lot N. That's near where dad usually tailgates for the regular season games. As for tailgating, I was hoping to crash someone else's (I'd bring some beverages, of course). I'll be sitting in section 122, row 15.

Don't have a set plan yet,going with a buddy for food and beers and just playing it by ear.

I don't know. I was so looking forward to getting out of this town for the weekend. Maybe I'll drive up and find a cheap motel somewhere. I've got 2 hours to decide if I can swing it before it becomes not worth coming down tonight. Of course, no one was interested in meeting up, so why waste money on a motel? I may just drive up for the game tomorrow night. Seems like a lot of effort for a preseason game, though.

Just my luck lately (or was this a result of a decision I made...heh). The people whose loft I was staying in know of a very sick boy at Children's Mercy. His grandparents want to come down, because they don't know how much longer the boy will be here. They don't have money for a hotel, so they're staying in this family's loft. I understand. Just sucks that I didn't find out until I got back from lunch today.
