And now, a word to the wise...

Whenever eating leftover sushi (they messed up a roll the other day, gave me an extra one to go), double check to make sure that one of those pieces doesn't have a large wad of wasabi on the underside.

That is all.

HypnotizedMonkey 08-15-2008 10:16 AM

Wasabibomb!

Saulbadguy 08-15-2008 10:16 AM

Gonzo 08-15-2008 10:18 AM

I f***ing love wasabi, on a bet I ate a quarter-sized lump of it a few weeks back. That'll wake you up let me tell ya.

I'm going to be teared up for a bit yet.

Dayum. I love me some horseradish, but that was the mother of all sinus inflammations, there.

There was some smoked freshwater eel in there somewhere.

Sushi, btw, is the way the rice is prepared. They can put anything on top of it. About half the time I just get sashimi, which is the raw fish. Good stuff, but I understand some folks not caring for it. I love the stuff.

To each his own. Myself I prefer some Jackstack burnt ends and cheesy corn.

Sure... but every day? I like to mix it up. BBQ, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Japanese. It's all good.

I could eat sushi every day. I love it!

Sushi and sashimi are really, really, really, really great in the hands of a good chef who has access to incredibly fresh product.

Leftover sushi... uh... I've not even thought about going there before.

I have always said Meat is a treat but sauce is the boss.

ps sashimi and sushi are always best fresh. I recommend forming a close friendship with a good sushi chef. It has paid of immensely for me.

I can think of very few friendships that would have more positive impact upon one's life.

Y'all oughta talk to Big Daddy. Troy and I have gone out for sushi twice with L'il Mama, and both were almost memorable... but that waas more of an issue with the sake.
