How shitty are some Chiefs fans?

There are a lot of good fans around here. Good people.

But I've not seen Chiefs fans look like hateful, nasty people like this before. For a long time I thought we were above this, I guess I was wrong.

Classless.

Jewish Rabbi 09-08-2008 09:57 AM

You want the same team to win every damn Super Bowl? I'm sure fans of every other team are just as happy...

C'mon Laz quit holding back. What do you really think?

Brock 09-08-2008 10:03 AM

You should probably just stay off the football side of the board if you're going to be offended by that.

IMO, classless would be going to a Patriots fan site and posting these threads.

If done right, it can be amusing.

I never think that calling out people in a thread is a good answer either. Kind of hypocritical IMO.

Micjones 09-08-2008 10:18 AM

Something's a little wrong with delighting in someone being injured.
I'm a die-hard Chiefs fan. I'm not sorry for the Patriots. They won without Brady.
And that's life in the NFL.

But I am definitely not pleased with the fact that Brady was injured.

He didn't call out people, that's the thing. He started a "look at me!! thread" like he does in DC to get attention.

Chiefnj2 09-08-2008 10:20 AM

Pollard was just trying to intimidate him.

i know i am banned at the broncos site

Bugeater 09-08-2008 10:25 AM

I'm guessing you could find those types of threads on any football board you go to, I'm sure fans of many teams are sick and tired of Boston this and Boston that year in and year out. It's about goddamned time they felt the pain. **** em.

Sure-Oz 09-08-2008 10:27 AM

Would any of you guys feel bad for A-Rod getting hurt? and the yankees being ****ed? Probably not

vailpass 09-08-2008 10:29 AM

Jesus Jaz take your Baby-Daddy loving weak ass back to the DC hole. This post is pathetiweak.

There are alot of Yankee fans that would cheer if Arod got hurt.

triple 09-08-2008 10:51 AM

i kind of agree. the 'glad brady got hurt' thread is a good example of low class people taking joy in someone else getting hurt.

it's really just jealousy. we're jealous because the patriots are successful and we aren't. they have a QB and we don't. they have a coach and we don't. they have a GM and we don't. since we have nothing but bad things happen to us, when something bad happens to the Patriots it makes us feel like they are more like us, and the Chiefs aren't one of the more pathetic franchises in pro sports

Sure-Oz 09-08-2008 10:54 AM

I wouldn't say I take joy out of it...but i don't care...you think brady gives a **** if any of us fall off a cliff?

PhillyChiefFan 09-08-2008 10:58 AM

Patriots fans will still be talking, they will just be saying "well if Brady hadn't gone down..."

Not that I'm happy he got hurt at all, I don't like to see players hurt on any team. But now its an excuse moreso than a great football player getting hurt.

I didn't call anyone out. In fact I deliberately didn't because there are many threads and far more posts dealing with the same.

no worries... I'm a little out of it.

Spicy McHaggis 09-08-2008 12:04 PM

I don't know if I can really revel in a season-ending injury to a player. I broke my foot senior year in high school and had to miss half my track season. It sucked sitting on the sidelines and wanting to compete more than anything. On that end I feel for Brady.

However, I also did not have a super-model girlfriend, millions and millions of dollars and the adulation of screaming masses to comfort me. So...

I never want to see a player get injured. I like watching the D play physical and hit people, and if they get injured, that's part of the game, but I'm not happy about it.

I use the example of Jeremy Maclin. When he got hurt in the Illinois game I immediately hoped it wasn't serious, even though KU doesn't have an answer for him and he could be the difference maker in their game.

Hitting is part of the game, but I don't wish injury on anybody.

What a little whiner you are. Who voted you the message board police?

Redrum_69 09-08-2008 12:19 PM

So when Green got hurt...and knocked out...

No one on here called for the other teams player to get hurt? Fined? Benched by the NFL?

No one???

yeah right,
