Brandon Albert

I thought he did a good job today but he needs to learn how to adjust to inside pass rush maneuver

Smed1065 09-15-2008 12:00 AM

He did great, I mean for missing the practices.

Yep, the only thing he should work on is the inside swim move

chiefs1111 09-15-2008 12:06 AM

Yup,I have liked what i have seen from him so far.

Smed1065 09-15-2008 12:06 AM

Starting to think after tonight everyone is in Iowa, or a person that thinks they are better because they have a corn cobb up their ass.

Opps did not mean to offend.
Yes I did.

I live in Iowa and you make less than me cause you live in the real world, just ask me....Ill tell U cause I said so and I am white.

Sure-Oz 09-15-2008 12:11 AM

He is probably our best lineman or 2nd best at this point and he had zero pre-season

btlook1 09-15-2008 02:02 AM

I agree he is better than McIntosh that dude just needs cut along with Jones. Draft next year OL QB OL OL OL OL OL OL OL

I think a MLB and DE mixed in there somewhere would be beneficial to this team.

kcxiv 09-15-2008 02:06 AM

He got beat quite a few times on the outside speed rush. Cant blame hiim to much as he has only had about what 3 weeks total training?

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-15-2008 02:07 AM

He's still playing on a gimp foot and is learning the position. The guy may well end up being the best LT in the draft and a cornerstone of the line for 12 years. I'll take it.

Now, to the four guys to his right?

Kill yourself. Kill yourself. Kill yourself. Kill yourself.

I don't seem to remember him being beat alot. Alot of times it looked like Derrick Burgess had him beat but he kept him far enough to the outside that the QB was able to step up and avoid the rush which is still a victory for the offensive tackle.

Oh I don't know about that. Waters and Niswanger are fine in my book. Still not sure if Niswanger is a good fit at center or not since he is probably too tall to be a great center but I think he can be the longterm answer at right guard.

Waters is trash without Bill Roaf.

Our left side has been pretty damned solid. For some ****ing stupid reason we run to the strong side all the time and its not ****ing working. WHy not run at where your good at. We havent even tried. **** this coachign staff.

Well said I have been wondering that also. Seems to me like all we do is run up the middle or to the right. We haven't tried the left much. Maybe we are protecting Albert? We did run to the left at NE a few times I think but the clusterf%%k of a game with the Raiders I don't remember trying the left at all.

Wow. I didn't come over here to bag on you guys but Albert was horrible in pass pro. The guy was beaten on every single pass play I saw, and OAK/KC was the early game out here. I was actually pointing it out during the game to my friends and family. He looked like a Guard playing Tackle. Seriously. The guy has no footwork.

You are aware of the crappy coaching this team has right?

Yeah. I know you guys are going through a low point right now, too. I was just stunned when I stopped by and saw a thread praising Albert. I thought he looked horrible.

Well in comparison to the rest of the line......

I'm not going to really jump all over him, the Chiefs have a serious lack of talent in general and he may end up as a guard, either way I don't think this coaching staff is going to be very successful at teaching him how to play OT.

I saw the inside swim move as the only problem, Albert didn't allow the DE to catch him around the corner.

TrickyNicky 09-24-2008 07:43 PM

Anyone else see Inside the NFL? Apparently, Albert has a tell to whether its a run or pass, courtesy of John Abraham being mic'ed up. It's a good thing, because maybe now the Coaches might address it.

Coaches shouldn't be capitalized if you're referring to our coaches, and LMAO

The way we have been playing, I didn't even know we had any coaches

By beat you mean pushing his guy around the back of the QB so that he never laid a hand on him? 'cause that generally what happened, the guy looked like he was getting pushed back, but he seemed to keep the defender out of the pocket, other than the one play were he was expecting help and let the guy go.
