Broncos | Marshall not likely to face suspension
Thu, 18 Sep 2008 09:51:26 -0700 KFFL has learned Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall isn't expected to face a suspension for his recent misdemeanor battery charges because the league was aware there was a chance he would be charged before he was suspended one game earlier this year.

This is not "again." This is the old incident they already knew about coming to fruition.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league was aware of the allegations in the Atlanta incident at the time it suspended Marshall, prior to the start of this season. He added that Marshall could face more disciplinary action from the league, depending on the outcome of the case.


"We have been aware of these potential charges," Aiello said. "We will continue to monitor the case and review it under our policy as appropriate."

His one-game suspension covered that however I don't blame you guys for trying to find any way you can to keep B-Marsh off the field.

Most of these "charges" stem from dating this once crazy bitch named Reeshda. She stole his property and when he tried to retrieve it she said he was holding here hostage. It's all a bunch of crap. He broke up with her in March. Do you guys find it strange that she waited 5 months to press charges? I'd suspend his ass 5 games for the DUI, but all this other crap comes from dating this woman.

I just love how the league knew about another offense and still reduced him suspension to one game.. Well luckily he will be in more trouble this year and the next..

I don't think she waited 5 months to press charges buddy. It took the D.A.'s office 6 months to gather evidence and process the charge. Trust me, crazy women don't wait around to screw you over. But anyways,nothing to see here.

He is the reason we ended up with Javon "NIGHTCLUB" Walker. He knew he couldn't beat that Marshall guy out and wanted out of Denver because he is a #1 WR. Lelie wanted out of Denver because he was a #1 also according to him and now they both are RAIDERS. Good job AL.
