Chiefs are the worst team in the NFL.

Right? Can anyone think of a worse one?
I thought perhaps the Rams but I checked and we're pretty close to them statistically in all areas except the Rams have played good teams and we've played the worst teams the NFL has to offer that aren't wearing an Arrowhead on their helmet.

I'm pretty sure the Rams would beat us. In fact, I almost want to play them to prove it.

Killer thread. This is the first I've heard this.

CupidStunt 09-22-2008 05:36 PM

St. Louis would beat the Chiefs by at least a touchdown if they played on Sunday. Steven Jackson would average at least five per carry and I'm sure Holt would rape the secondary a few times. Chris Long would hand McIntosh his lunch, too.

Jewish Rabbi 09-22-2008 05:37 PM

Could we get a sticky on this groundbreaking news?

Deberg_1990 09-22-2008 05:37 PM

At least the Rams have an experienced QB.

Hydrae 09-22-2008 05:38 PM

Are we worse than the Lions this year? Probably :sulk:

L.A. Chieffan 09-22-2008 05:47 PM

Do the rams have "The Beast" Colquitt. **** NO!

Pretty experience at throwing picks.

I remember Bulger made the Pro Bowl over Matt Hasselbeck when Bulger threw 22 picks that year.

Not that it matters........I just hate the ****ing Rams.

CoMoChief 09-22-2008 06:02 PM

I'd love to see MU pass all over our defense.

Yea, hes actually gotten worse since Martz left.

gblowfish 09-22-2008 06:17 PM

Its depressing when our only comeback is "Well....our punter is freaking GREAT!' Just watch him after our sixth straight three and out."

Useless.
Useless.

Frazod 09-22-2008 06:20 PM

Mizzou's off this weekend, IIRC Kansas is too. So nothing to look forward to on Saturday, and on Sunday the Chiefs get destroyed by the vilest scum team on earth.

It's not going to be a happy weekend. :banghead:

Programmer 09-22-2008 06:23 PM

I wonder what gives anyone that feeling?

The worst team? Well ...... duh!

Bearcat 09-22-2008 06:29 PM

The Chiefs are one of two teams that have given up over 600 rushing yards. St. Louis' rushing game is going for 56ypg and Bulger is one of 4 QBs that have been sacked more than 10 times.

It would be like electric football... all the lineman would fall down after the snap and Bulger would run around in a circle at midfield.

ChiefsCountry 09-22-2008 07:26 PM

Will Mizzou have more wins than both of Missouri's NFL teams combined?

Uh yea, they'll win 10 games and there's no way the Chiefs and Rams are combining for 10 wins.

IMO, Missouri already has more wins that both Kansas City and St. Louis will this year.

Yeah. This is the type of deep, thoughtful analysis that rivals WPI.

I'm assume you're wondering what I'm doing here. Well I figured "what the hell" because afterall, Clayton sure ain't using me.

cdcox 09-22-2008 09:08 PM

I'm thinking that if we could merge rosters with the Bengals, we might just be able to field a half decent team.

PastorMikH 09-22-2008 09:09 PM

I was thinking back to the draft yesterday. Odd that Atlanta and Oakland picked before us like they were worse than us. We have proven in the last 2 weeks that we were indeed worse than those two teams and should have picked ahead of them.

Who would coach? Is there a coach on either roster capable?

Each fan base gets to contribute one fan to coach. I nominate Mecca and ??? The only Bengals fan I can think of is BenglasRulz.

Marvin Lewis may be the only coach I wouldn't want over Herm.

StcChief 09-22-2008 10:21 PM

the 30-32 are gonna be quite a toss up.... Chiefs/Rams/Lions and Faiders.
even Bungles, Falcons.

FAX 09-22-2008 10:27 PM

Is it too much to hope for that Herm would be eaten by a giant Martian worm?

HELL at least Marvin believes in offense, not his fault he may have the only GM worse than Carl.

Carl = Matt Millen.

I don't know, Mr. cdcox. No offense or anything, and Mr. Mecca knows a lot about draft prospects and stuff, but I don't think his halftime speeches would do us a lot of good, "Okay guys, we're down by 3 but it might as well be 153 because you're nothing but a bunch of scrubs and total asswipes that never should have been drafted in the first place. You there! Quarterback! You suck and you'll never get any better. Hey, you! Running back guy! You don't have any legs and your pea brain couldn't remember a play if I wrote it on your dick with a permanent marker. And where's our center? There he is! You hike the ball like it was your mother's tit. I'd tell you to grow a pair but they'd come out your chin and your helmet strap would give you a hernia! Okay. We're not going to win this game, that's obvious. And we're not going to win any other games either, so let's get back out there and pretend like we give a sh*t because I sure as hell don't."

FAX

Mecca 09-23-2008 01:36 AM

That would probably motivate them to play better, most people hate being told they suck.

FAX 09-23-2008 02:44 AM

I've always said that your understanding of the motivational psychology of human development is impressive, Mr. Mecca.

Carl = Matt Millen.

You opinion of Carl Peterson is laughable. You haven't a clue as to what his job is, and based on your comments you are unaware of what he has done for the team.

Carl isn't as good as many feel he is, but in the same light he is not the evil one others feel he is.

horse hockey...

Carl's only good move was to hire Marty S. Which was a bazillion years ago. He is now in Miller territory.

Three playoff wins in nineteen years. He needs to kick rock.

I think the Falcons and Raiders were worse than us before the draft. But their #1 draft picks have given them immediate playmaking help, and now they're both better than us.
