Rebuilding will only start when CP and his entire FO are gone!
What a joke! The people hiding behind rebuilding are fooling no one. I predicted this would happen once DV retired and CP hired Herm. In his first year, Herm get's to the playoffs with DV's team, and he lays an egg. One of the most embarrassing playoffs performance of all time.
Every year Clark waits and does nothing tack on another 2-3 seasons before Chiefs have a chance to be competitive enough to make the playoffs and win a championship. If he does the right thing and cleans house at the end of this season then Chief's can be a decent team again starting in the latter half of 2009 and have a decent chance of being a playoff team in 2010 or 2011. The best case scenario would be taking a page from the Sean Payton's playbook during his first year with the Saints and turning over his player roster (35 new players) and making the playoffs. Let's hope for Chief's fans sake that Clark starts to have some pride and take some action right away. |

Seriously, ever since your man boy Vermeil retired you've done nothing but bitch and whine about this issue. Your last what? 60? 70? 80? posts have been nothing but this tripe. We know your opinion. Post something different or kill yourself. You're the biggest waste of oxygen in this entire forum. |

What about the Jets beating Indy 41-0? Is that first All-Time? Nice try, windbag. |

DV is the best thing that happen to this franchise in a long time and since his departure we have tailed spinned to mediocrity. Although I did not agree with his philosophy, Marty is hands down a finer coach than what we have now. With either of these head coaches you had a chance of winning every Sunday and a chance of getting to the playoffs. Clark has to pull the plug after this season has ended. CP and his staff have been here long enough (20 years). It's time for change in our FO followed shortly by a complete change in the coaching staff. |

Oh yeah we're rebuilding. I wonder what would have happened if DV was given the same directive as Herm and had the luxury to rebuild? We certainly would be in a much better place. |
Posts like this really only work right after a loss, not two days later.

Of course it would happen after DV retired, he left the team in terrible shape. Good thing it only took Carl (or maybe Clark) two years to figure that out and actually start trying to rebuild it.

In comparison Herm has 26 combined picks and 22 are still with the team. Last Sunday 11 rookies played in the game and they had a great showing. In 3 years the Chiefs have gone from the oldest team in the NFL to the youngest. If the QB position was in better shape I'm sure all the discussion on this board would be much better in tone. |

But, to be fair, our drafting sucked long before DV arrived. Long before. Bad drafting is one of the things the Chiefs are good at. As for the number of Herm's picks that are still on the team, he started drafting in 2006. Of course a lot of those guys are still on the team. And, Tait was drafted in 1999. Well before the Vermeil era. FAX |
