Multiples of 10??? WTF IS THAT?
 

So I head to the ATM last night, pull in the bank parking lot and some suv is in front of but not in the first drive up lane. Well the bank was closed so anyway, they see my headlights and whip over and cut me off to the ATM. I see some blonde in there so I am like ok whatever.

Literally 3 minutes later I hear this "Sir? Excuse me Sir?" I stick my head out the window and she says "I'm not sure how to work this, what does it mean "multiples of 10?" Now this is a semi-cute 30's blonde right?

I'm thinking no way.....so I ask here "how much money do you want?" She said $25. I said "25 is not a multiple of 10. Put in $30". Then she says, "but I want $155!".

I'm thinking this is a classic OMG moment the tv commercials would love. So I yell "put in $160". She does it give me the 2 thumbs up.

Another full 2minutes later I finally drove to another ATM as she was still perplexed as all hell.

WTF??? ROFL

How in the hell did she go from wanting $25 to wanting $155? Stupidity on so many levels.

I possibly did not hear her correctly. I was in total and complete shock that I was being asked such a question mind you.

This cant be a true story.......can it??

Yeah, and people that still use checks...and especially those people that still use checks and don't bother to fill the *****ing thing out until the very last second. They wait until the total is rang up before even pulling the checkbook out.

Only kind I've ever seen were multiples of 20s.

I was at a mall store a few years ago Christmas shopping for my wife. There was a clothes rack with a 20% off sign. A woman probably mid-thirties is looking at a coat tagged at $99.99. She calls over a younger sales girl. "How much would this coat be with the 20% off?". The girl says, "Hold on, let me get a calculator".

How do people that dumb get through day to day life? Seriously, how is it possible?

I've worked on our ATM's and they have 20's and 10's, but usually get to 10's first cause the 20's are low and run out quick

I got a funny one for you. I work as a pharmacist intern at a Wal-mart pharmacy in the area and as I was walking back the pharmacy a early 40's lady and her friend stopped me and asked if I worked here (which I thought was strange because I was wearing a dress shirt with a pair of dockers and I had no name badge with me and typically most people that work at wal-mart wear green or blue shirts, etc. and have name badges) So anyways, I said to her that I did and then she asked me what 60 + 60 was because I presume she was trying to add two items together in her head or something. I stood there for a second and gave her and her complexed friend an odd look and then I told her 120 and just walked the other way while the whole time I had an OMG look on my face. Apparently you have to have a job to know what 60 + 60 is.

$100 would be easly, but figuring 80% of $99.99 would be difficult.

Years ago most of them gave out 5s and 20s, so you could have any multiple of $5. A lot of the small ATMs in convenience stores give out 10s.

My dad has a really huge problem with people who don't pull up close enough to the machine....then they have to waste time getting out of the car halfway trying to use the ATM etc....

Of course all of those people happen to be women.

Here in MO, US Bank and Bank of America you can withdraw $10....

I have Commerce Bank. where you can only get 20's.

I did go to the casino once and withdrew $100, and was gonna use $60 myself, and give $40 to my buddy to play with, and out popped a $100 Bill.

Thats happened to me before too and it pisses me off.......casinos want you to use all of it I am guessing???
