Coyle Injured again... Give me a break..

Jury closed, time to move on, folks. Lets be real.:cuss:

petegz28 10-19-2008 11:46 AM

Bring Chris Simms back...anyone who can play with a ruptured spleen is better than anything we have.

HypnotizedMonkey 10-19-2008 11:47 AM

That was it for Croyle!

Fire Me Boy! 10-19-2008 11:48 AM

I agree. Officially off the Brodie bandwagon. The guy has a lot of talent, he's the best QB on the roster, but he just can't stay on the field.

I genuinely feel bad for the guy.

:cuss::cuss: Guy is ****ing made out of glass. At least now we know he's not the answer.

I'm in the same boat. I really wanted him to succeed...

FringeNC 10-19-2008 11:50 AM

Yep, if he hits the juice, he can have a nice career as a backup, but that's it.

aturnis 10-19-2008 11:51 AM

I agree, this means he's done. It's too bad. That looked like it hurt.

Fire Me Boy! 10-19-2008 11:51 AM

I would have paid everything I could have to never see Damon Huard in Arrowhead again.

:shake:

This just in... Brodie back out, in a full leg cast and on crutches.

KcMizzou 10-19-2008 11:53 AM

Yeah. I feel bad for the guy. But, it's pretty obvious that his body wasn't made for NFL football.

Ditto here. I knew he had to stay on the field in order to stay healthy and keep proving people wrong.

Unfortunately, he's just very fragile.

kc1977 10-19-2008 11:55 AM

The Chiefs just wasted 2 freakin' years on this guy that anyone should have seen long ago that he was not the answer. Thankfully, we'll finally get to move on, but Carl and Herm deserve to get canned immediately for irresponsibly starting a youth movement without a legitimate QB of the future candidate.

Why? This guy got 3 chances more than he deserved to be a starting NFL QB.

I feel bad for him too. If he gets injured this easy, he might consider retirement. If not, he'll be crippled for life before his kids are in grade school.

Otter 10-19-2008 11:59 AM

I wouldn't worry about it too much, he's done.

kcxiv 10-19-2008 12:01 PM

Good ole Broken Croyle.

RNR 10-19-2008 12:02 PM

I am not defending all of his injuries but the two he has this year would have taken out any QB. The shoulder was crushed against the ground with a DL full force on top. This one was a fluke with his cleats getting stuck. The kid is a victim of bad luck this year. FWIW I think he sucks hurt or not.

poor bastard better have a plan for life after the nfl.....

keg in kc 10-19-2008 12:09 PM

That cat has about the worst luck of any player I've ever seen.

This whole team is murphy's law.

ArrowheadHawk 10-19-2008 12:13 PM

I am officially off the Croyle bandwagon.

RINGLEADER 10-19-2008 12:15 PM

The Croyle era is over. Too bad for him and the Chiefs that he didn't work out.

He was never the answer. I feel bad for him and his nfl career, but I never wanted him as the QB, and am thankful that the experiment is finally over.

"Bob" Dobbs 10-19-2008 12:18 PM

I'll miss Kellie.

stonedstooge 10-19-2008 12:19 PM

Hey that double hit he took would have taken out most every quarterback in the league. Damn he got crushed.

Doesnt matter 8 starts 4 injuries. NO matter what way you look at it, its horrible.

Micjones 10-19-2008 12:23 PM

Croyle was never the answer.
The team never really believed in him.
We should study as much game tape as possible on the top QB candidates coming out in April.

Mr. Laz 10-19-2008 12:24 PM

he's done ...... move him down to #3 and then cut him at the end of the season.

MTG#10 10-19-2008 12:25 PM

Im off the Croyle bandwagon now. This was his last chance for me as well. I dont feel too bad for him though, he still has that smokin' piece of ass to go home to...

Munson 10-19-2008 12:28 PM

The guy couldn't even make it 'til halftime without injuring his glass mangina?!?! What a joke. Hopefully he never sees the field again. I never liked the guy. He was a below average, injury prone college QB, and I don't know what the Chiefs ever saw in him to warrant wasting a 3rd round pick on him.:cuss:

BigMeatballDave 10-19-2008 12:31 PM

Yeah, I'm done with him. Any chance McCoy comes out early?

I wonder how long many fans stayed on the bandwagon for this reason alone.

No he had to do that to prove a lot of you right. He didn't.
He is what a lot of us thought he is......fragile non NFL starting QB.

Brock 10-19-2008 12:33 PM

Gone for season

kcxiv 10-19-2008 12:34 PM

Did they say what the injury was? ACL?

That sucks for the kid. You know he has to think his career is over, and now he has to rehab with that thought in his head the entire time...

Demonpenz 10-19-2008 12:37 PM

acl mcl and what could be some rupsured blood vessels

Dunit35 10-19-2008 12:39 PM

He knows his career is over. Unless Herm stays as coach...

Fire Me Boy! 10-19-2008 12:59 PM

I think he could be a solid backup. Just never will be a starter.

teedubya 10-19-2008 01:23 PM

He'd better get those last few fitty-tucks in while he can.

Mr. Flopnuts 10-19-2008 02:09 PM

He'll be raising orphaned kids in Alabama before you know it.

Why would you want a guy who can't last a 1/2 as your backup? If your starter goes down you're almost instantly stuck with your 3rd stringer. He's not worth the risk at all.
