I have a bad feeling about this game. For some reason I think we get stomped in this one. Hope I'm wrong obviously.

Who knows, we were so spoiled.... Now who knows... This team has zero depth and very little talent on the bench...

I really don't think this KU team has as much "talent" on it as some think. I really think we are young with a lot of 4 year, solid type players.

No Rush, Chalmers, Arthur type players.

I feel that type of players are coming next year.. This just feels like a muligan year...

My guess would be Taylor, albeit he's much shorter. But, he's long. The Morris' brothers are too slow to guard him. And please God - don't allow Brady Morningstar to try and guard him.

I agree. Frankly, I'm not impressed with the Morris twins. They can rebound, but dear Lord don't let them shoot it.

Taylor has been impressive....at least to me. Needs some work on finishing. But he reminds me of a Chalmers/Robinson mix.

Like you said, I'm really not expecting much. I'd like to see us stay around the top 25 and get into the tourney....maybe win a game or two....and I'd like to see North Carolina Hansbraws fall flat on their face. Other than that, it's a growing year.

Worked 8a-7:30p yesterday. Then, got called back to work 11p-2a. Sleep at 3am. Up by 7am. Back to work 12p-4p. And now I'm working from home. Haven't eaten in 2 days. Getting ready to have a sandwich. If I'm awake in 30 minutes, I'll be surprised.

Was just talking about this at the game saturday with a few of my friends. One of the things this team has lacked doing is attacking the rim. That play has been a big part of their offense for a few years now and not only is it a very high percentage play but there are few other things that can get the Field House rocking as loud.

I'm sorry. I know I allow my dislike of seeing Morningstar on the floor hinder my opinion of how he is playing - but at the beginning of the game, he was a full 2-3 steps behind Budinger.

I'm not that bad. I actually thought Kaun was a valuable asset to the team - both defensively and rebounding wise. He even threw in some points every so often.

Like I said....Morningstar can at least shoot the ball.

So far not a bad half for this young team.... They are hanging with a solid AZ team on the road.

I like Self's rotating of Aldrich at the end there; save him from his habit of picking up a cheap ass foul like he did 3 seconds into the game.

It's a good thing Budinger didn't score. We'd be behind.

Okay, but being on the road in that environment against a team like AZ with the fans, we are handling it ipretty well..

If he could keep his fouls under control, he'd be unstoppable. He has so much potential to be the best big in the country. He's learning. He looks good this year, minus the fouls.

For your halftime entertainment Katie Morgan is sitting around naked on HBO again.

I think this is better than a lot of people expected. A very young team with its first true road test and they lead by 3 at halftime. Nice. The only thing that concerns me is that a scorer like Buddinger usually finds a way to get points. Hope he doesn't start hitting his stride in the 2nd half.

I agree. Hopefully if Sherron or Cole shows up the second half that will cancel out Budinger (if he does) scoring some.
