Denver reaching out for Bob Stoops as HC Candidate
Didn't see this posted anywhere.

That would be SO AWESOME! To get the chance to both hate Stoops AND watch him FAIL?
SIGN...ME...UP; I'm there. |

I don't think he'd be worth a shit as an nfl head coach.

If he came to the NFL it would be another College coach to fail in the NFL
|
I can't see him leaving OU.

The dude was able to take OU into great sucsess, there's a good chance he may do the same with Denver...he has .8 winning record with OU. That is nuts.
|
**** Bowlen
he killed my Con Agri stock the Pam plant shut down |
What's the deal with all the hating on Bob Stoops? Are you guys just jaded MU fans tired of getting your azzes kicked? Or is there some other reason? Honestly, as Sooner fan I'd like to know if there is something I am missing due to my fandom.
|
Please, ****, let this happen. It will weaken Oklahoma and Denver in one swoop.

let's list the college coaches who have been successful in the NFL since Jimmy Johnson:
1. Butch Davis 2. Steve Spurrier 3. Nick Saban 4. Bobby Petrino 5. Etc.... wait, I meant coaches that have been gigantic failures, most of which quit and ran crying back to college... |
ahhh
reverse mojo to get Pioli and his Iowa buddy |
I can't wait to see a melt down of epic proportions at the Mange if Bolen hires Raheem Morris. ROFL Stoops would make the mistake of his life if he were to jump to Denver. He's got it made at Oklahoma. Why screw up a sweet gig by taking a lateral step with less job security?
It would be insanity. And hopefully his wife would stop him. :D |

Just FTR, I wouldn't be against him doing it for the very same reasons that are outlined in this thread. |

Just ONCE, Goddamnit; that's all I ask! |

Please go to Denver, and take Sam Bradford and Gerald McCoy with you.

The thing I think most people don't get about Mark, is that this was NOT an exceptional outing for him; it was business as usual. |

Stoops would have a better chance than many other coaches do to what he runs in college. He already runs a pro-set and thats what Jimmy Johnson ran when he was coaching college before he made the jump.

Let it begin:
"Our Father who art in Heaven, please let Douche Stoops win the BCS and be sucked in to the gaping, Cutler-chasm that IS Donko Football...Hallowed Be Thy Name, and Sanchez to Kansas City post-haste, Amen". |

How about this one? |

Ah, much better. Any chance to compare a guy who is teaching kids how to play football to the most evil person in football is welcomed. |

Let's put some phenobarbital in his dish; that should make things right!ROFL |
do you guys know why Bob Stoops eats his cereal on a plate?
|
Do tell, do tell!
|
It's only a complete win if we can land a legit HC while Denber courts a douce like Stoops.
I do like the fact that Clark is taking his time while Pimp-Daddy Bowlen is offering to buy drinks for every gal at the bar 20 minutes before closing time... |

Don't let Clark's "silence" fool you, I believe without a doubt that he is smarter and better than these other clowns. And as opposed to the other franchises working on making a "great deal", he'll drop a Nuclear Warhead rather than a pant-load when all is said and done. |
Clark is treating this like the oil business. Take your time and be very very careful where you drill. That oil isn't going anyplace while you procrastinate. Not so with coaches in the NFL. Remember, the money Clark is spending today was earned in the 1930's by his grandfather, H.L. Hunt.

ROFL sure. keep telling that to yourself. |

If you want to get all "Oil Analogy", Clark is Daniel Plainview; you'll see. |

Hell while there at it why dont they go after Greg Robinson.

Spurrier was the only one that could have any player he wanted, the others were setup for failure, the Falcons,Browns and Dolphins all sucked when these guys got there. |

Of course today, the ticker on ESPN said today that Marty was just brought in to consult with Clark and it is "highly unlikely" he will be back with the team. Which leads me to believe that there 'IS' a strong chance he 'WILL' be back in some form or another. |
Quote:
I was totally joking |
Quote:
I had initially believed that Marty would be a VP, but then I speculated that his "talks" with Clark would be a one-time consultant gig in the quest for a GM. I was sort-of right; it was just a call on Clark's part for advice, and nothing more. |
I really hope Denver doesn't decide to grab a college coach, it just doesn't work out. I hope we get a defensive minded coach from the Giants, Ravens, or Titans... And hope they don't mess with the offense and just keep Bates, Dennison, and Turner where they are. Hopefully Shanny doesn't take them with him whenever he decides to take another job.
I really hate having to talk about Shanahan's replacement. Dammit Bowlen:cuss: :) |

Pimp Daddy Bowlen likes them offensive guys... |

That would weaken the Donks, Sooners and Gayhawks (you know Oklahoma would make a run at Mangino). Sign me up.

lol...
If the Chargers lose this weekend, will Norv Turner be fired? just curious. |
Quote:
You're overestimating guns power of suck. |
Hmmmmmm.......
The great majority of college coaches that make the leap fail..... So if the Donks hired him, there's a great chance they'd fail.... Yep I'm on board, hire away Donkey Doos. |
The just announced the Broncos Candidates for HC. Stoops was not mentioned.

Although, KK might stroke out now that he would have to become a Broncos fan to keep sucking Stoops' nutsack. |
Will this distraction make Florida a favorable wager next week. If this is more than a rumor then OU might not show up in the BS Champ game next week.

And ****ing Petro-Douche and the Douche Crew; I swear all those clowns do is log on to Chiefs Planet, take notes, and then start the show. We supposedly listen to these fools to get an angle and hopefully learn something from them that WE aren't just speculating about, and all we get is the very same shit we just read or posted at the Planet. C'mon guys, just change the name of that show from "The Program" to "The Lounge". Be honest, ya' ****in' ****sticks...:grr: |
