Beer drinkers: plastic, metal, glass?
How do you like your beer? Poll forthcoming.
Sorry if Repost. |

cold and in my mouth
Ice cold bottle.
Draught.
Bottle for 100+ degree weather.
Cans for -30 degree weather. Deep cups with wide brims for beer pong. Large tumbler for movie drinking games. Bong when I'm showing off. Keg when I'm showing off upside down. Glass if I'm showing off and being classy about it. |
All of the above as long as it's ICE cold.
Plastic should NEVER be anywhere near beer.
Stanley Cup FTW!!
glass
I prefer a pint glass. Some beers are good out of the bottle like Grolsch.
My general rule:
I'll drink it out of the bottle unless the beer costs over $7 a six pack. At that point, it goes into a pint glass. |
Glass, and a room temp glass at that. I dislike it when the server pulls a mug or pint glass from a frosty freezer. IMO that is reserved for the shitty beers like Coors that have no taste anyway.
beer glass for me
Straight from MY tap into MY plastic cup
Depends on the time, location and situation.
Small paper dixie cup...the ONLY way to do it!
If you voted for out of the can...you might be a redneck

I like to drink it from the fuzzy goblet.
I like beer from the bottle better than can, but where I live I can recycle cans. Can't recycle glass. weird, but true.
So I drink cans as much as I can. |
I'd bet that you could crosstab this with the types of beer consumed (cheap shit, standards, crafts) and it would fall pretty easily into plastic, bottle, and glass.

I've always been a fan of the frosty mug.

There's nothing wrong with a cold glass. As long as the glass was dry when they chilled it and hasn't been sitting in the freezer for 2 days. Then you don't get the layer of ice on the glass which waters the beer down.

metal bottles are the worst. Do you guys have those by you? I've seen Phillies and Yankees Bud bottles. It may have been the beer that was the problem, but either way... not enjoyable.
Pint Glass... doesn't have to be frozen. agree with Kregger. to help run of the mill domestics make 'em iced. unless it's really hot out 90+ then cold bottle.
1. Pint glass, or other glass
2. Bottle Anything else only if it is the only choice. |
from a tap
AND in a glass |
