There, I said it. He's not "big" or "strong" or anything. He just weighs a half a ton and looks like a balloon. He's not a QB. He's just a big stupid fat ****.

Please, I want all kinds of posters to tell me how much greater he is than any Chiefs QB we ever had. Please. Tell me how this fatass has won two super bowls in his short career. Tell me how he plays to win the game, doesn't care about statistics, and is cool under pressure.

This is ****ing bullshit. Ben Roethlisberger is NOT a good QB. He's big and fat and has an arm. That's it. He has a great TE, a FANTASTIC tough receiver in Ward and buttloads of talented speedsters who can stretch the field. And... oh yeah. THE BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL. That helps too.

Go ahead and tell me why you'd take Big Ben over the guys with the flashy stats because of his success and his rings. **** that. You know what?

Give me Kurt Warner and that defense, and I'll show you MORE Super Bowls than Ben Roethlisberger, and I'll show you a team that looks good doing it. Peyton, Brady, Warner, McNabb, Cutler. I'll STILL take all of these QBs over Ben the fat ****.

Tell me why Tyler Pigpen is terrible and why Roethlisberger is great. Actually, don't. Shove it. Piss off. I'm sick of hearing about it. For 6 years, Ben Roethlisberger's job has been to yell "DING DING!" when a car pulls up. He takes old hubcaps and places them on his head, and says he's a flying saucer or a man from space. You know, he has fun.

He's a fatass who can scramble, throw accurately, absorb all kinds of hits and has a decent running ability. Yeah, he's great.

But I do believe that his success comes from having a good D that will take care of his pitfalls most of the time. I do not think he would have successed with most of the teams in the league.

Roethlisberger played one HELL of a game yesterday...he made some unbelievable plays and unbelievable throws...all game long.

Both QB's were great. That was a fantastic game featuring two deserving and fantastic teams this year.

I have never seen a fan base hate QB's more than this one, it even hates good QB's.

We could have Peyton friggin' Manning and 50% of the board would still complain.

It's just bizarre, I don't know how we ended up like this.

We've lost to so many teams with QBs over the years, and our fanbase is so stupid, that rather than thinking that we should emulate the victors, we should put all of our eggs in the basket of the exception to the rule, hoping to win every playoff game 9-7.

I almost wonder if the KC media persecution complex extends to high profile athletes in general--they see that quarterbacks get good press when they play well and they are so jealous of the perceived slight given to KC from the MSM that they project their hate onto QBs.

I'm guessing as long as he's not an Overrated Fatass SNR will be fine with it?

I don't care what people think about Ben. He played ike a champion on that last drive. He lumbered his fat ass out of trouble quite a few times and made some incredible clutch throws. The average QB cannot complete that TD throw he made to Holmes.

2 things; 1) somehow he has a feeling for where both the receivers are and where the pressure is coming from. On that last drive, he shoulda been sacked 3 or 4 times but somehow got the passes off. 2) He's lucky as hell. Look at the Ravens game where he threw up balls that shoulda been picked off and somehow hit guy comes up with it and the defender falls down. Some guys just have the sun shine on them all the time. I thought Tom Brady was lucky until I watched Big Ben.

Then you'd be a complete, freaking idiot. Ben's only this good because he has one of the best defenses on the other side. His defense doesn't return that pick for a TD, he loses the game. That was a 10 point swing. He made 2 amazing plays. I know he won, but still, I think he's overrated as a QB, especially for any other team. But, he's the best fit possible for the Steelers.

Two plays? You must have only watched the last drive. Ben escaped sure sacks and delivered the ball, with accuracy, all game long. Only Chiefs fans would sit around saying Ben only won because of his defense. The Chiefs had the best D in the league a few times in the 90's. Get back to me with how many Super Bowls that got them. Remember that Ben has two in his first five years.

With his behind the line scrambling he was like Dante Hall out there, getting as much forward yardage, too. Luckily, it works if you're a QB scrambling for more time to throw. Maybe Dante missed his calling.

You'd have to stack 2 Dante's on top of eachother.

Also, yes, he's a good QB, but he's not the best. I'm sick of the ESPN media talking about why he's the best QB in the league because "he wins games, has jewelry, doesn't care about stats, etc." His TEAM wins those ****ing games. Yeah, Ben can make the play when it counts, but his defense spends the entire game covering up for the stupid plays he makes in the first half. I didn't say Thigpen was better. I was pointing out the multiple times that I criticize other players not on the Chiefs in the NFL, and then some loser asshat will swing by with a post like, "Gee, I sure wish the Chiefs had this terrible player." I don't think the guy is anywhere near anybody's list of all-time QB's but he's a very good QB and works well within the Steelers' system. I think he does everything that's asked of him and then some. I wouldn't hate it if he were somehow a Chief.

Nobody is saying Big Ben is the best QB. But he works within the Pitt system very very well.

Even if Roethlisberger is a fatty, it makes his mobility all the more impressive. He survived at least half a dozen broken-down pockets last night, and made some kind of play in most of them. I, for one, have to give him credit, even though I wanted him to lose.

Both of Rothelisberger's passes to Santonio Holmes in the endzone on that last Steelers drive were great. It just happened that the first one went right through Holmes' hands. So then Big Ben had to make the perfect pass on the next play. Who gives a shit how tubby the guy is if he can make a pass like that with the Super Bowl on the line?

I was trying to figure out how come he didn't get sacked on that last drive and then I rembered - not even the back windshield of a car can stop him from going 80-0! Dude's tough.

Hey, I liked Trent Green and Joe Montana. Those are the only 2 decent QB's the Chiefs have had in the last 20 years. I guess you could make an arguement for Gannon as well.

Big Ben has been sacked more than any other QB in the past few years, he often makes a play out of nothing. I think he's a very solid QB

I never said he didn't have a good game or wasn't capable of good drives but people act like he's already destined for Canton. Everyone is acting like 1 game is all we need to look at to determine he is an elite QB. There is a difference between good, really good, and great. I see him between good and really good but not in the top tier of QB's.
