Raiders to cut Michael Huff
He hasn't done much, but do you think a change of scenery would help him at all? It cant hurt a player to leave that shit hole.

Another great pick by Al Davis. 4.3 speed FTL.
|
I thought he was one of their better picks? Am I dreaming or did he used to be decent?
|
sure, why not

We have enough of those. |
I feel bad for the guy.
His life was supposed to be set. |
If he's gettin cut by the raiders then he should come at a discount. Pioli seems to be big on signing alot of FA's to bring into camp and have competition for spots. Why not bring him in as a low risk high reward type player if he understands what he's worth and signs cheap
|
I'm more interested in Leigh Bodden, but I didn't see him play in Detroit last year.
|
Can he play fullback?
|
4.3 40? Really? That's blazing for a safety. If he can't tackle, bring him in and see if he can catch. If so, sign him. (I hear our new HC has a way with WRs. ;) )
|
I'd definitely bring the guy in.
He's young and talented and should come pretty cheap. He hasn't exactly been a world beater, but the guy could serve as depth if nothing else. |

On the other hand, you guys might want to give him a look...:D |
He's a University of Texas player. Taking Texas guys in the top 10 is often the hallmark of a GM with a death wish.

**** yeah bring him in and get rid of Jon McGraw's ass.
Page, Pollard, Morgan, Huff. I also think we should consider signing Asowaomga however you spell his name. Him with Flowers, Carr, Leggett, get rid of Surtain. Make on hell of a secondary. |

I can't make a decision on this until I hear what Mecca has to say. :)

Donte Whitner who everyone acted like was the reach pick of that draft now laughs at Mike Huff who went in front of him. |

Whoa, have I been gone for a long time. A player gets cut by the lowly Raiders, & the ChiefsFan response is "Bring him in!" Dark days indeed for both Chiefdom & RaiderLand. Don't listen to me... I have no intelligent input. Been so far out of football that I didn't been know Cable was named head coach til a coupla daze ago. But my oh my how far we have fallen.... the both of us...

Huff certainly hasn't lived up to the billing. I see why they may can his ass.

The New England Patriots under Scott Pioli have signed several free agent DBs. I don't think any of them have been high dollar contracts and if anything they seem to jettison DBs when they get older and more expensive. Michael Huff has a lot of physical talent, so if KC could sign him to a low risk contract, I could see Pioli at least consider it. At 6'1", 205 lbs and sprinters speed, that type of ability is worth looking at.
The truth though is Michael Huff has underperformed and judging from past play, would not be an upgrade to Jarrad Page. So unless Huff is willing to come in at a lower dollar contract and fill the role of backup safety and cornerback, or KC thinks coaching can get a lot more out of him, it's probably not going to happen. |

I hope we can sign him cheap. Could work out nicely for him to get away from the faiders.

Is he more of a free saftey or SS?

How do we know Huff hasn't just quit? Who wouldn't quit on that piece of sh*t team?
