let the rivalry commence

That arena could blow up and I could care less. UNC and Duke can go **** themselves.

But but but...it's the greatest rivalry in college basketball (to fans of both teams, ESPN, and people who don't pay attention to college basketball).

This will be great. It's guarranteed to bring out the usual crying suspects who routinely feel the refs f their team at every turn. However, in this case, you'll get to see them whine about how other teams get all the calls. And how Dickie V is really Dukie V.

It's a beautiful thing to behold.

The really thing that pisses me off about North Carolina is all of their bundle of sticks fans who follow them only bc Jordan went there.

Are you guys ready to hear about the Jimmy V foundation?

I'm just in it to laugh at Tyler Hansbrough.

Maybe I'll laugh at Duke instead.

Good game so far, to go along with the great finish last night... a lot better than that game Monday night. :shake:

Duke's run was a thing of beauty... I don't care what Midwesterners say, it's a great rivalry and one of the best atmospheres in college sports.

THIS would qualify as "40 minutes of Hell"

I can't cheer for Duke. I can't cheer for Tyler Hansbrough. I'm conflicted, so it's hard for me to watch this.

Yeah, I've never cared for either team, so I've never really picked a side in these games. But, if it's a product of Tyler Hansbrough getting dominated because he can't get to the foul line because the refs aren't calling fouls on Duke because of his elbow flapping, I'll take a Duke win. :)

This is really, really good game.

As a guy who grew up a Maryland fan and a Chiefs fan back in the late 60's and 70's. Carolina is to Duke as Oakland is to Denver.

So if I gotta choose.....

Only thing that would make this perfect is if someone would walk up and just waste mike patrick... Then nuke the arena and save all of us the most pathetic display of ball washing in the history of mankind...

It's hard to get excited about a sport that is only relevant for two months after the Super Bowl. It's really only relevant for one of those months.
