Haven't been here in awhile, so check this out. Guess this could be related to the cheaters thread, but oh well. I had been seeing this woman for about 3 years. Everything was great, we got along, amazing sex, etc. But during this whole time, I live in Wichita, she in Newton, a 30 minute drive. She always had to visit me at my house because she lived with her ex. They had never been married, just dated for 9 years. Long story short, I saw the end coming, she was pulling away, as she had done before a few years ago, so I found where she lived and told her supposed ex the whole story of me and his woman. Oh yeah, they were very much together, he said. But he was a big puss and didn't get mad or anything. But needless to say, she got hysterical, said she hated me, i ruined her life, etc. I knew all this was going to happen anyway, but I just couldn't let her get away with her doing the whole player thing. So basically, what is your opinion on confronting the cheaters significant other?

My opinion is take a writing class.

I always think it's funny in these situations when guys wanna beat up the other guy when in reality it's the chicks fault as she plays 2 guys.

No it's because guys are reeruns and think it can't possibly be their g/fs fault it had to be the other guys fault....as she likely never mentioned she had a b/f or told him she was leaving him or something like that.

Alot of guys never come to terms with the fact that their g/f is just as much at fault as the other guy is.

If your simple justification is "but it was great sex", then you obviously didn't have much emotional investment in this.

So, basically, you knew she was still living with another man and decided it was alright to nail her without verifying that things were over by talking to the guy beforehand, then you got pissed because she decided to stop cheating, so you went and threw it all in the guy's face? I suppose I see it differently if the guy is far away and has no idea who you are vs someone who does know you. IF she lied about it....and the guy has no idea, its a different story. I don't know of too many cases where that is true.

I've not found myself in this situation because see, I wouldn't nail someone elses' wife.

For clarification, when i went to their house, I asked him 3 times if him and the woman were in a relationship. he said yes. That is when i told him what had been going on. I was not looking for a fight, but he didnt even get mad. She had swore up and down that they were not together, I was the only one. She lied, and she got caught

I would understand those feelings more if the guy was a friend of yours, then they're both just as much at fault but when the guy doesn't know you, it's more her fault than his.

This. I've been cheated on in the past and not once did I feel the urge to beat the guys ass. Sure I was mad and sad about it all. But it's guys nature to want to **** everything that moves. It's her job to say no. She obviously didn't.

Before I do anything drastic I always ask myself what does this prove and what is the point of this.

If you care that much to go fight some dude, you'd probably take the girl back which in the end would make you the reerun.

Thing is, Mecca, she caught him cheating years before, and kind of held it over his head. Now she got busted, and I'm sure she begged and lied. I thought about showing him some pictures and home movies we made, but decided against it.

Fighting makes you a good family man...I'm not sure in the logic in that. I also love how a disagreement leads to insults.
