ESPN

PastorMikH 02-21-2009 08:09 PM

This should be a good game

Buehler445 02-21-2009 08:18 PM

OU is not playing well.

kstater 02-21-2009 08:19 PM

I didn't get the KSU game on TV, but I'd imagine this is what it looked like.

Buehler445 02-21-2009 08:20 PM

Griffin with 2 fouls 12:43 in the half.

eazyb81 02-21-2009 08:36 PM

Go Horns!

yuck, i feel dirty now.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 08:38 PM

F'ing zerOU. Can't trust those Grapes Of Wrath inspiring hacks... need them to win to give a leg up on 4th place.

Mr. Laz 02-21-2009 08:41 PM

a win here puts Texas back into top 25 which helps every team in the Big 12

so go longhorns :Lin:

58-4ever 02-21-2009 08:44 PM

that was a terrible call.

If KU beats OU and they are #1, the benefit for KU is larger.

So go OU....:Lin:

**** IT. Go terrorist attack!

58-4ever 02-21-2009 08:44 PM

we need a TO baby!

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 08:45 PM

Willie Warren is a stud. Hated losing him to Capel.

kstater 02-21-2009 08:46 PM

Heh, Darren Kent is tougher than Blake Griffen.

ya ... prolly, but

a win by texas and a win by KU over OU means another solo KU Big 12 title ... not a tie.

eh ... doesn't really matter i guess as long as KU wins out

the Talking Can 02-21-2009 08:47 PM

Griffin looks concussed

My thoughts exactly.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 08:49 PM

He has no idea where he is. He ain't playing the rest of the game. (my guess)

Silock 02-21-2009 08:49 PM

I really hope OU doesn't lose tonight. That would make an already tough task of playing them in Norman even tougher.

depends on the force and angle, i guess

i'd honestly rather play a full force OU on Monday, but if he has a concussion I doubt he'd play...

Yes. Especially when you take an elbow right between the eyes. Makes your nose bleed and rocks the calvarium.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 09:05 PM

He's done.

eazyb81 02-21-2009 09:05 PM

This is crazy. How the hell did he get so messed up?

the Talking Can 02-21-2009 09:06 PM

he's riding a unicorn on planet Zylon....

KC_Connection 02-21-2009 09:07 PM

Blake Griffin is a wuss. Couldn't handle getting hit a few times.

There had to be something else than what they showed on TV. He's definitely got a concussion.

the Talking Can 02-21-2009 09:07 PM

why are they making him sit on the bench?

that can't be the most comfortable, quiet place.....

I'll bet Clemente did it.

That what I was thinking. Sometimes the picture doesn't tell the whole story.

Capel probably wants him to go in.

He's not on the bench. He's riding a unicorn....

eazyb81 02-21-2009 09:10 PM

If it's a concussion, he'll almost definitely be out for the ku game unless Capel ignores the doctors.

He'll play Monday wearing a football helmet.

KC_Connection 02-21-2009 09:12 PM

If he actually has a concussion, why is he on the bench right now?

What is the normal recovery time for a concussion in which he doesn't lose consciousness (I don't think he did)?

I think he's cheesing hardcore.

tk13 02-21-2009 09:14 PM

I don't understand why they have him sitting there writhing on the bench.

Well if he actually has a concussion (this certainly isn't confirmed yet, and I'm not sure whether I believe it), he won't be playing on Monday, that's for sure.

Puzzling, indeed. If he's concussed, he shouldn't be on the floor anymore.

The announcers said it was a concussion. I assume they don't make that shit up.

They have quick question-based memory tests that show whether a person is concussed or not. The doctors should already have a pretty good idea whether he has one.

Blankey 02-21-2009 09:16 PM

He's in lala land

tk13 02-21-2009 09:16 PM

I think there's approximately a 14% chance he forgets where he's at and wanders out onto the floor to run the break before the end of the game.

They haven't confirmed a concussion. They keep saying "possible concussion."

I'm sure they won't let him go to sleep.

I don't want to be mean if he's actually hurt, but I think it's possible that he may just be a wuss.

The treatment is the same. Hold the guy out until he's cleared.

Dick Vitale asks the question we're all asking. WTF is going on...

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 09:22 PM

Do you get double the points for banking it off the board twice in 1 shot?

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 09:39 PM

WW hits another. 24 points...

KC_Connection 02-21-2009 09:40 PM

Willie Warren is a beast. He's going to win this game.

eazyb81 02-21-2009 09:40 PM

Texas blows.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 09:41 PM

Warren with cramps hits a three...

tk13 02-21-2009 09:41 PM

Haha, that ankle's okay, that ankle's okay. Meanwhile the guy is rolling around dead.

KC_Connection 02-21-2009 09:41 PM

Holy shit. Are you kidding me....what a shot, he better keep playing.

Buehler445 02-21-2009 09:43 PM

Griffin still looks high as a kite.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 09:43 PM
