Folks in Missouri are really going to love this guy.

Wow... for the first few minutes I was pretty much on board with the guy, wondering what the big deal was... yeah, there are too many under-educated and over-opinionated people in America, and Midwesterners are predictable.

However, the last part of the first video is brutal, and the second one isn't much better. I've seen that show a couple of times and it seems like they've stretched themselves to the far end of the spectrum.... might need to reel it in a little.

NickAthanFan 02-22-2009 12:16 AM

I read he's had to resign from several things because he reflects poorly on the organization. He's a real dickhead for sure.

bishop_74 02-22-2009 12:45 AM

I can not believe that someone married that guy and bared his children.

As the correct phrase would be 'bore his children' you proved his point, in a way.

And how is it unbelievable that he married someone who was exactly like him? (Albeit more of a flake and less face-meltingly awesome with his John C. McGinley-esque verbal smackdowns)

ChiefsCountry 02-22-2009 01:16 AM

I think I would have took my chance with jail time and slugged the shit out of him.

Rausch 02-22-2009 01:29 AM

She should have handed that bitch a toothbrush and told him to take it back home so his people could become better eductated.

She should have told him that his nacy-assed-lap-dog of a country wouldn't even be around if not for the midwest finishing wars his impotent European neighbors couldn't.

The guy reminds me of the South Park "SMUG" episode:

"Good for YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU"...
LMAO

RNR 02-22-2009 09:25 AM

That meeting would have gone quite differently had a man treated my wife that way. I would never agree to a reality show in the first place. That said it would have been a come to Jesus meeting. I can not believe her husband just sat there and let that dump run his mouth. Yeah it would be a drag going to court paying the fines, and replacing the teeth he lost. But you can bet your last dollar I would.

Frazod 02-22-2009 10:12 AM

The basic point being missed here is that ANYONE who would go on a show like this is in the first place is ****ing loser. The people should be ground up and fed to the poor.

stevieray 02-22-2009 11:45 AM

what a pussy..guarandamntee he wouldn't talk to another man like that..

his kids reaction to his verbal assaults speaks volumes, they are more mature than he is

..and the mom..where children don't mix with her perrsonality? why the hell did you have kids?

I've worked for people like this in the past..

That was the first thing that struck me. I feel sorry for those kids. Nothing like mom going on national TV talking about what an inconvenience you are.

Wow, I feel for the guy a little..

Basically had to quit something he probably enjoyed doing not to tarnish the company.. I wonder how his wife's business is doing now?? Wonder if parents will allow their children to hang out with his kids.. Have the feeling he will be moving..

Pfft, not me.

The only thing he's sorry about is going on national television and exposing himself for the elitist prick he really is. Pretty stupid for such a highly educated man.

aturnis 02-22-2009 09:07 PM

Wow...I've passed over this time and time again. Finally watched it, and wow...what a douche. If simple means caring about the important things in life(family, friends, and community) then I guess we are simple here in the midwest.

Funny thing is...this guy actually thinks he has some sort of positive effect on this nation.

Spott 02-22-2009 09:19 PM

Lousy limey bastard. He sounds like the type that likes to use the word hillbilly to insult people from the midwest. ;)

Oh I know that is the only reason why he is truly sorry.. He and his wife probably won't be upper echelon very long if all their friends/co-workers disown them like the plague.. Well if they have friends..

Fish 02-23-2009 12:45 AM

Even Dane thinks this is elitist....

I don't understand the apology. It appeared that he was acting normal (for him).

jAZ 02-23-2009 01:09 AM

The MO wife was about as nice as you could possibly be in that situation. What a worthless piece of garbage Fowler was.

ChiefsCountry 02-23-2009 01:16 AM

Don't the Missouri family live in KC metro? Thats not exactly podunk.

The Buddha 02-23-2009 01:40 AM

I really think this guy was putting on an act, or at least embellishing for the purpose of entertainment and attention. The only way the guy could be getting any worse of a backlash from people is if he went Ike Turner on the new wifey.

It all seems too ideal, (him being SO rude and her being SO nice) for me to think that what we see is everything. Something tells me ABC told him to play up his attitude, he went too far with it, and they didn't stop him cause they knew it would increase attention and ratings. I don't feel bad for him, but I just think this is what happened.

Bob Dole 02-23-2009 07:24 AM

Abba-Dabba 02-23-2009 09:20 AM

What a Donger.

Gonzo 02-23-2009 10:01 AM

The backlash he's getting for this is understandable, seeing that I'm sure most of the participants in said backlash are idiots. He's obviously hamming it up for the camera and I'm sure ABC directed him to do so. Shows like this are Jerry Springer-esque. They wanted this type of reaction for the ratings game.

That being said, sure he's a jerkoff but freedom of speech? He can't say these types of things or behave the way he does because it offends under-educated fat women from Missouri!!!! I hope ABC realizes they just lost that demmographic.

I'm surprised SHE didn't pound the snot out of him with the way he treated her. HAD he actually gotten a "Low Class Midwesterner" as he claimed, she would have.

The look on the husband's face in the meeting had me wondering what he would have done had he caught up with the guy backstage alone for a few minutes.

FWIW, I don't care how high-classed someone is or thinks they are, nobody has the right to talk down to someone like that and no one deserves to be talked down to like that.
