Are you one of these douchebags?

No, but I have a "Jesus Didn't Tap" shirt. :D

Look, lots of guys get more pussy than me. If you've ever had pussy, you've had more than I've had. It's no big deal. There are dudes with affliction shirts that get more pussy than me, there are dudes with pocket protectors that get more pussy than me. There are dudes without legs who get more pussy than me. Let it go. Everyone gets more pussy than me. Everyone.

Bag on Claythan all you want, but those are the dumbest shirts ever. They're like washable barbed wire tattoos.

Do we hate all things mainstream, or just the things for men?

but its Chuck Liddell's line!

Ed hardy stuff is made from twine and bedazzle machines. They go for hundreds... We're talking $150 for a belt. $200 a bikini...

I like pretty stuff, but people are ****ing insane.

Affliction made enough of those stupid shirts to start their own MMA promotion and pay Fedor over $1 mil per fight if that tells you anything.

Eh, part of the deal on them is that they are made in the US. Made in California at the best screen printer in the US.

I have, and will never, owned one, but I sold it for about 5 years.

I thought we were talking about Affliction. Yes, Ed Hardy is much more expensive. Except for the fact that it is so overproduced and can be found at TJ Max, Marshalls, etc for half that. Plus, it has pretty much stopped selling at regular retail.

Psyko Tek 02-26-2009 04:27 PM

think I've seen the same sort at walmart and hottopic

are you still a douche if you only pay $20 for it?

angelo 02-26-2009 04:27 PM

I go for a more classic look.

What in my circle we call "Dago Fabulous" no offense.

It consists of slacks, camp shirts or nice long sleeve button downs, nice shoes (my weakness), good watch and a pinkie ring. Chains and bracelets are optional as long as you don't over do it.

I will often go out in a nice suit.

I paid $35 for a nice chiefs t-shirt once. It doesn't really fit me anymore, but I still wear it because I want to get every penny out of that sumbitch

KCCHIEFS27 02-26-2009 04:56 PM

I don't really care what people wear. Everybody always worries about the world revolving around them. Some people like the style, some people don't. I will tell you what I'm getting tired of though..people that can't stand something another person is wearing or doing and calling that person a douchebag. I mean, come on, has American culture stooped so low as to steal something from the French language and use it for our "coolness"? I'm ashamed.

I paid $35 for a concert shirt at the venue once. Then I realized I could pick up the same thing online for a lower price.

I would agree with the sentiments with regards to indifference about personal fashion, but these shirts are more a symptom of being a complete piece of trash. I've yet to meet anyone I respect that would wear one of these shirts, and they're typically found on the kind of people responsible for the deterioration of modern American culture.

No Affliction.. I do own an Ed Hardy. I've worn it twice, and I like the way it looks, like the way it fits, and don't care if anyone thinks I'm a douchebag. If you have such extreme prejudice as to think everyone wearing a certain clothing brand is a certain way then you are not open minded enough for me to value your opinion, you are a simpleton. I bought it because I liked the way it looked, not because someone else told me Ed Hardy was cool.

Complete and total geek yes, but no douche. LMAO

That is different.. seems someone likes MMA.. Most of these fools do not know shit about it.. They just see a shirt that costs 40 more then it should and it has a skull and cool lettering..

If you are an actual fan of the sport and go watch it.. Then by all means buy the clothes.. It is like all of these kids who watched 'twilight' and now think they are vampires and are cool, and head down to the local Hot Topic..

el borracho 02-26-2009 11:21 PM

Never heard of Affliction or Ed Hardy and I don't know what a "camp shirt" is, either.

Oh, and looking at the example in the OP, I can say that, even if you gave me one I would not wear it.

Oh beleive me he is a big fan of MMA from UFC to Pride to now Affliction to King of the Cage, he actually has a room in his house with nothing but MMA and its ungodly how much money he has spent on all the fights once they come out on DVD He has been watching it since before it became as famous as it has, I am talking mid 90's.

He did go buy some shirts with some of the fighters names on them and wore them when we go to sports bars and watch the fights, most of the time he pays for them on pay preview.
