Jacksonville: Josh Freeman 9. Green Bay: Michael Crabtree 10. San Francisco: Malcolm Jenkins 11. Buffalo: Eugene Monroe 12. Denver: Beanie Wells 13. Washington: Aaron Maybin 14. New Orleans: Everette Brown 15. Houston: Brandon Pettigrew 16. San Diego: Tyson Jackson 17. New York Jets: Darrius Heyward-Bey 18. Denver: Robert Ayers 19. Tampa Bay: Peria Jerry 20. Wouldn't Ayers be a 4-3 DE? Why would Denver take him if they're switching to a 3-4?
Jose Freeman at 8? Really?!!?!?! Pettigrew to Houston??!?!?!?! Crabtree to Green Bay?!?!?! What the **** are you smoking? |

Actually Ayers could very easily play OLB in the 3-4. I could see Denver using one of their picks on him.

Josh Freeman has shit for brains on the football field.

1-Matthew Stafford Detroit
2-Jason Smith St. Louis 3-Mark Sanchez Kansas City 4-Michael Crabtree Seattle 5-Aaron Curry Cleveland 6-Eugene Monroe Cincinnati 7-Jeremy Maclin Oakland 8-Brian Orakpo Jacksonville 9-B.J. Raji Green Bay 10-Aaron Maybin San Francisco 11-Brandon Pettigrew Buffalo 12-Rey Maualuga Denver 13-Everette Brown Washington 14-Malcolm Jenkins New Orleans 15-James Laurinaitis Houston 16-Robert Ayers San Diego 17-Josh Freeman NY Jets 18-Tyson Jackson Denver 19-Clay Matthews Tampa Bay 20-Michael Oher Detroit 21-Andre Smith Philadelphia 22-Percy Harvin Minnesota 23-Brian Cushing New England 24-Darrius Heyward-Bey Atlanta 25-Hakeem Nicks Miami 26-Vontae Davis Baltimore 27-Peria Jerry Indianapolis 28-Knowshon Moreno Philadelphia 29-Kenny Britt NY Giants 30-Louis Delmas Tennessee 31-Chris Wells Arizona 32-Eben Britton Pittsburgh Seemed like once I stared grabbing WR I could not keep them from flying off the board. I am starting to come around to think that picking Sanchez(or Stafford if he does not go 1 or 2) is the best move. Hold him for ransom and either Denver, TB, NYJ or SF come calling. If they don't, then we have a year to make a decision on either Cassel or Sanchez/Stafford. If the Chiefs were to have the balls to pull the trigger on QB at #3, I am willing to call Denver's bluff, they or someone else will pick up that phone. I can't believe that the young rookie HC in Dtown is willing to bet his future on Simms or Orton. If no one calls, we are still not in a bad spot. I would really prefer a pass rushing stud but there is not one in this draft. I tend to believe that Cassel will be just fine as our QBOTF, but having good options at QB is never a bad thing. Flame away those that don't like my 5 minute draft I put together on ESPN. Pretty cool link to check out. |
How many people have Clay Matthews falling out of the 1st round? On my 2 round mock I have him going in the middle of the 2nd. Im just not impressed one bit with Matthews. Im beginning to think that Matthews is only getting pushed up the 1st round because of his background which is just silly. Face it, one of USC's LB's will fall apart in the NFL. Im banking that Matthews doesnt make it past 5 years in the league. Cushing and Maualuga look pretty good though....Well decent I suppose.

I went for an exciting and a WTF draft. The Rams realize, how cow we have no WRs anymore! they take Crabtree, watch.

I'd be shocked if the Rams took a WR at #2.
They might have the best young WR corp that no one knows about. Donnie Avery, Keenan Burton, Laurent Robinson. They'd be foolish not to take their highest rated LT. |
