I'm bored. This late start thing kind of sucks. So here's another lame stats-based contest for the weekend.

Last year, we had a total of 12,299 posts between Saturday and Sunday of the draft. What will our total be for this year?

Closest guess gets $10,000 casino cash on Monday.

I'm actually going to guess it'll go down quite a bit. Our overall activity on the board is up this year, but we have far fewer picks this year to talk about.

However, if we start trading picks all over the place, that'll make things more interesting.

Since GoChiefs is gone that will be about 212 missing posts, plus 4 posts for each of his posts flaming him, adding 848, then one post for every 8 of those defending him adding 106. Thats 1166 total missing posts. That brings us down to 11133. Then you have to take out the 303 "dammit Carls!!!". Thats 10830. Add about 243 "The deal is dones". Back up to 11073. Plus around 180 posts for this thread, that wasn't here last year giving me my final answer of 11,253.

Looks like I'm going to be dead wrong in my prediction. We're already well over our day 1 total from last year.

Oh, and no new entries at this point. Although I suppose if anyone wants to play, you can try and guess our day 2 total instead. If you get within 100 posts, I'll throw some cash your way.
