Good somebody is, because I sure as **** am not.
|
If we do become pure 3-4 I can see why...we're gonna have to stop looking at players the same way.
|
I think it's clear this was a 'serious' pick.
|
Haley seems perpetually stoned.
|
Well Im sure glad he's excited about it,cause it would be stupid to take they guy if he wasn't
|
Todd looks like Ryan from "The Office" last season when he was doing coke while working at Dunder-Mifflin corporate.
|
And he also looks like the booger from Revenge of the Nerds... the friend that was in "Better Off Dead."
|
Todd: You're my first.
Tyson: I'll be gentle. |

Russell Maryland Richard Seymour Two major unsung heroes for their teams. Neither dazzled with stats, but everyone on their team knew how important they were. Kind of like nose tackles. |
I'm warming up to the pick. It's not a sexy pick, but Jackson is the top-rated 5 technique DE in the draft. I hope he plays like Ty Warren and then some, because I have to say, intially, I was disappointed in the pick.
|
I think he's a little more Warren than Seymour but he just better be better than Marcus Spears.
|
I want to bang Suzie like a dinner bell on the Ponderosa. Tear that ass up! Better yet a threesome with Suzy & Adrianna. Excuse me...I'll be back in a few minutes...
|
even cleaned up the dude looks like he's just off a bender.....i like it

You know those videos made of fighter pilots who have been captured and are forced to read statements by their captors? This is how Haley comes off on camera. No eye contact, and all screen charisma of a colonoscopy.
Not the end-all/be-all, of course; this fact has nothing to do with coaching ability. For instance, Belichick makes Britt Hume look like Tony Robbins. But it's still painful to watch. |

Time will tell. Still got an entire day 2 to roll with also. |

One question:
How can anyone seriously say they are ecstatic or dissappointed with this pick until at least 2011? |
Quote:
Speaking of Dallas DE, it kind of ticks me off we didn't make a harder push for Chris Canty. |
I love the way he looks, it's like "let me get this ****ing interview over with so I can get back to scripting the first series for the ****ing Ravens game".
|

The thing you find yourself doing atleast I know I did is, who is this fat ****er playing end that can't get any sacks? Then of course we don't factor in he's a 300lb dude playing 4-3 end and he won't do that here. |
Quote:
|
Well, we pretty much have our ends locked up now with LSU linemen. Dorsey on one end and Jackson on the other.
|
Quote:
A couple guys like him are going to get a chance to see if they have roles in the defense this year. |
Quote:
Aaron Curry would have gotten more than Derrick Thomas. Eugene Monroe would have gotten more than Willie Roaf. It's the nature of the draft, we were going to overpay for anybody we picked. At least we got SOME value out of the pick. |
Quote:
Some of them will probably work and some won't. Just the way it is. |
Quote:
|
I didn't say it would work but that's what I think they're gonna try.
Wouldn't be surprised if they took Jarron Gilbert tomorrow to be the other end. If Dorsey bombed they could take Terrence Cody next year. |
These last two years have been kinda similar to 88/89. Both top 5 picks, and the second year was when the new regime came in.
|
Quote:
The person who may benefit most from this is Derrick Johnson. Although I don't know how in the world they got Zach Thomas to come here if they're really going to a 3-4. |

So you think Dorsey and Jackson will = N Smith and DT? Perhaps, but we are talking completely different types of players. |

Im hoping for some great picks tomorrow

I'd like to have seen Todd a bit more enthusiastic about Dorsey in that interview. He had a bunch of good things to say about Cassell. But with Dorsey he barely stopped short of calling him a bum.
Dorsey will be a difference maker for us this year, one way or another. If he doesn't play like the 5th overall pick soon, that will really set the franchise back. |

There's an interview with him about it on here someone, if you want to try and dig it up. |

Probably nobody but him knows for sure, though. |

Perhaps they will try Dorsey as a penetrating NT similar to what Ratliff and Dockett do.

Tell me he couldn't have just stared off there for a second and said "oh man! where the hell am I" or "who took the cheetos" and it wouldn't have fit in perfectly. Guys probably been up 48 hours. That's good stuff there. |
Did ESPN say Haley was "excited" about something? What did I miss?
|
Quote:
He should have started off the segment with "Dave's not here, man." |
ok i admit it..........im drunk and just clikcied on this thresd to see your avatoar.:D
