Post-draft:How many games will the Chiefs win in 2009?

I'm just wondering how much peoples minds change thru the off-season. I will post another thread before training camp to give people a chance to change their minds.

Did anybody's mind change after the draft?

I'm not making any predictions until I see what happens the rest of the offseason...clearly, we're not done making moves.

Plus we win the viking's scrimmage, three preseason games and two playoff games, starting with a wildcard win.....

The Pats went 6-10 in the first year of Pioli/Belichick, so if we go with the idea that the transitionary period will take at least a year before they are able to get their guys in place, I'm going with 6-10, followed by 11-5 in 2010...

We're beating the Giants, Cowboys, and Redskins but losing to the Bengals?

Of course! The Giants lost a key skill player in Plaxico, and the Cowboys didn't draft in the higher end of the draft, the Redskins overpaid for Free agents (that always means you'll do bad the next year) and The Bengals had a great draft and get thier franchise QB back next year, so they'll be teh bset! I've learned all this from Chiefs Planet.....

I'm not being super serious. I really have no idea how we'll do.

5-1 vs AFC West
2-2 vs NFC East (Dallas, Washington)
1-3 vs AFC North (Cleveland)
1-1 AFC extras (Buffalo)

Seriously, I wouldn't be disappointed with 6-10.

I thought 6 before, I think 6 now, but a lot can change in the next 4 months.

4. It's what I thought before the draft and what I'll think before kickoff on opening day. This team is in full on rebuild mode right now and not Herms BS "rebuild" mode but actual thought induced "what do we need to do to make this a competing team rebuild."

When compared to my pre-draft poll ( http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=206562 ) it seems that the general CP population thinks that the Chiefs improved by a game or so after the draft.

2 wins against the Raiders and that is it.

I think I'm going to reserve judgement until after we find out at least who our 53 man roster is going to be.

Naw, I'm sticking with 6-10.

If you go by a Raider's fan-O-meter, 14 games. This is based on the consensus by there whole board that the Raiders will win no less than 8 games next year.

Chiefs, not Broncos.
