Cards & Royals June 20th. Anybody going?
 

I am going to KC for the Cards @ Royals June 20th. I am actually planning to attend the 19th and 20th games.

Anybody else going? Would seem to be a good time for a CP gathering as there are a lot of fans of both teams on here.

I haven't met anyone form here yet but thought since I was planning to go to the games I might run into some people there.

Having Royals fans and Cards fans meet during that series seems like an invitation for a murder. In other words, I am worried that I would murder someone.

Yes, I'm sure ther will be several people there, but not me !

I was hoping that Hog Farmer might be going... I mean if someone were to get murdered like Reaper suggested... I think he'd make a fine choice.

I'd kill the first Cardinal whiner who said the word Denkinger. After explaining AGAIN that Orta was thrown out trying to go from first to third on Sundbergs single following "the call." Therefor he was erased... never scored... never mattered... the Cards blew it all by themsleves.

I'm going to the game at Busch on the 24th of this month btw.

I'm a Cards fan because my dad was. My first glove was my dad's old Stan Musial (Rawlings I think it was but not sure, wish I still had that!) signature glove he had as a teen.

I still followed the Royals as well as it was the late 70's and early 80's and when trading BB Cards everyone wanted Royals and Cards players.

I am looking forward to it and hope they are both in 1st place when they meet.That would be awesome.

Eh, I am more irritated about the Twins series where they turned the air on every time the Cards would bat. Ridiculous they would allow that to go on.

LOL. I honestly don't understand the shit talk between Cards and Royals fans.

I don't care for the Rams but they are not a Missouri icon, they are an import.

I don't live in either city so I don't have a big city bias.

The Chiefs are the football team in Missouri, the Cards have more history than the Royals but the Royals have been a dominant franchise at one time and they never played anywhere else. My grandparents used to take my dad and his brothers to KC games all the time back in the 60's. (KC Athletics)

I prefer NL baseball but I root for the Royals.

Odd thing is I live outside Joplin (2.5 hours from KC and 4 hours from STL) and I can't get Royals games so I don't get to watch many.

I'm going on Friday night and Saturday in full World Series Champion cardinal gear.

I'm going to St Louis for the game on May 24th but there's a good chance I'll be going to the series in KC too.

Im going to the June 28th Cards vs Royals game. Its the final of the series I believe.

I'll be in St. Louie for the May 23rd game.

We're staying in St. Louis Saturday night (May 23) but going to the game on Sunday.

Perhaps those interested could meet for a beer or two somewhere downtown on Saturday night?

I would but I'm just driving into town Sunday for the game with my daughter. We'll have our Royal blue on so we can take crap from drunk Cardinal fans. And maybe sober Cardinal fans.

I'd love to, but probably won't be able to. We're in town for my nephew's graduation and are staying out in Chesterfield. Probably will be doing family stuff all weekend.

I'm going as part of Missouri Western Alum day at Busch stadium on May 23, we paid $35 per ticket and that includes a pre-game tailgate (food provided, BYOBeverage) and then tix to the game.

I'll be there with the wife and kids, but feel free to try and look me up.

Just found out I'm going to the game on the 6/20. Also will see them in St. Loser on 5/23.

I will be going on the 21st, taking my father and my father in law out for fathers day.

For those that are planning to go to the June 20th game, the start time has been changed from 6:10 PM to 3:10 PM because the game is to be broadcast on FOX.

Yeah! National exposure for the Royals. It would be awesome if Greinke is pitching that day.

Happy for the long time Royal fans to finally have something to cheer about but, your still going down.;)

I hope the pitching rotation works itself out and we get to see a Grienke vs. Pujols match up.
