Well the title is new, but the song is "Valerie" by Steve Winwood from 1982. It's just a remix that was released in 2004. So even the remix is 5 years old.

Thank you, that was driving me nuts trying to figure out where that came from. However, I think you have your date wrong. He also had a song from the same album called "High Life", and another called "Higher Love" at the time, and I'm pretty sure that was late-80's because I was a Junior in HS when it was popular.

"Valerie" is the first cut on the 1982 Album "Talking Back To The Night". I had to look it up on stevewinwood.com for the date. "Back In The High Life" and "Higher Love" are from the 1986 Album "Back In The High Life".
