The problems for the Broncos began when McDaniels photon-torpedoed the locker room by trading Jay Cutler and making Kyle Orton the starter. Orton responded by tossing three interceptions on three drives in his first preseason game. As much as I agree that the Broncos are in a problematic situation, I doubt that they're going 2-14 anytime soon.

Orton doesn't suck it, take it from me,
He's just a bit more of a system QB.
He's not a top-tier passer, that's plain to see,
And Denver will be scoring less 7, more 3.
With Denver becoming a big ball of suck,
Orton will find himself plum out of luck,

And run for his life since his offense will f**k

There's little chance Denver brings home postseason loot.
More likely the bottom-feeders, a high draft spot to boot,

2 Questions.

1) Don't get me wrong, it is awesome that it happened, but why in the world would Denver trade Cuter? A lot of teams would kill for a very good, young starting QB and Denver shipped him off for NeckBeard and picks. Unreal.

2) Why do Denver fans defend this trade? I understand supporting your team, but this is similar to Quentin Castile going from potential Heisman winner to "eh, we have better players anyway." Can't people just admit that the situation might suck?

You have no chance in hell of getting to 8-8.

There's nothing wrong with going 2-14. It builds character and pretty much guarantees a top 5 draft pick. :)

I'm interested to see what happens this week considering all the drama... I really don't care about preseason, but I hope Orton does well while Cutler struggles... if for no other reason than to listen to others say that preseason doesn't matter.
