ok, so what if say there was this doctor, and this doctor was a little too friendly with a certain other employee...too friendly meaning feeling this other employee up by rubbing their hand up a leg...across a boob...and down an ass...then having the balls about them to look at the employee and ask them not to say anything about what they had just done/said....

I agree, but it happens in EVERY workplace, from car sales to hospitals, to factories, even when I drove a truck you would get other truckers on their CB's saying things. It happens everywhere it just isn't reported very often.

thats what i thought too...but see this employee didnt say anything the night it actually happened...they actually waited til the next night...now the employee is anticipating the 'talk' thats going down in a few hours...

thats why it keeps happening...it doesnt get reported...and when it is not too many ppl believe the person reporting it...

no no...im saying the employee is too scared and uncomfortable to talk about what happened to her...she's had things like this happen to her in the past before, but when she reported it, no one believed her, so she didn't know whether or not to say anything this time, and now that she has, she has to go through with everything...

To be perfectly honest, and this is a brutal truth, but most people with power can get away with whatever they want to. I don't want to give away too many details, but I heard a story about someone very powerful very publicly demeaning women as workers in the workplace. The dance afterward is that the company goes to great lengths to make sure the woman doesn't report it. It sounds like assurances, but it's just damage control.

The unfortunate truth is that it happens all the time but isn't reported largely because the consequences of venting about it are actually worse than if she keeps quiet. That's a sad but honest truth. I personally hope she goes through with it and reports the doctor, but I'm not going to pretend that her work life might be very different.

My wife is the treatment nurse for a skilled nursing facility that takes care of the elderly,and she has very few problems with the Dr.s she works with.I'm sure there will always be one out of the bunch,but her main problem is her cna's.

That said, there are good reasons they hire people with your skills to do the jobs that you do.

I'm always averse to hiring "shotty" doctors out of college because their game just doesn't translate well to the pros. You need a doctor who can work from under center.

i was in the hospital one time after surgery, and the piss jug on the side of my bed was completely full. nurses coming in all day long and never emptied it. it was stinking, so i told my wife to empty the damn thing.

some time later, my doctor and a nurse came in for his daily rounds. he asked something about if i was pissing. i said, yes, that my wife just emptied it. then the nurse starts bagging on my wife, saying that my piss was supposed to be monitored and she shouldn't be emptying it. i said the f@cking thing had been full all afternoon and it was stinking up the room, so I told her to empty it. the doctor just about tore her a new asshole in front of everybody.

nurse came back to my room about 10 minutes later, saying she wasn't going to be intimidated by my doctor, yadayada....

f@ck her...i filed a compaint w/the director of nursing. told them i didn't care if she was fired, fined, or whatever. i just didn't want the bitch back in my room.

i was there for over a month...she never came back to my room. saw her several times out in the halls though, usually shooting the shit w/someone.

all i wanted was for someone to empty my piss jug.

In my experience, people who do are reliable, dependable, skilled at their specific job and respectful to their bosses usually aren't treated like shit just because the don't have a degree. I am not saying it doesn't happen, but all you Holden Caulfield's need to focus more on your own performance instead of getting butthurt because a superior got on your ass.
