Who do want to start at QB against Baltimore ?

Assuming Cassel is out.

I think Thigpen would survive with his scrambling ability.

Croyle will be carried off on a stretcher.

SenselessChiefsFan 09-04-2009 05:41 AM

Big Ben.

Oh, you mean that's on our roster?

Um.
Um.
Um.
Um.
Um.

Yeah... I guess.
Um...damn....

Okay, Croyle, because Thigpen sucks more than Croyle.

LaChapelle 09-04-2009 05:48 AM

Croyle will throw picks. Thigpen will throw pick 6s. Croyle is brittle. Thigpen has cracked ribs and tentative. Call in a bomb threat to the stadium around kickoff?

CHIEFS58 09-04-2009 06:10 AM

its a no-win scenario. croyle will get hurt and thiggy will be sent in.

Bwana 09-04-2009 06:12 AM

It really won't doesn't matter regarding the final score. With Cassel out, it will be like a bye week for the Ravens. Even if he is back and plays, unless something happens to make the line better, he will get killed and won't last the game.

King_Chief_Fan 09-04-2009 06:13 AM

I start Thigpen. I let Baltimore smash him good so we never have to see him on the field again.

ChiTown 09-04-2009 06:13 AM

Brokie gives us our best shot. Sucks, but that's the truth.

the Talking Can 09-04-2009 06:19 AM

our starting qb, casel

Deberg_1990 09-04-2009 06:26 AM

Gutierrez

Otter 09-04-2009 06:45 AM

Is Superman or Jesus an option?

I'm going to be at this game and I'm quiet happy that I don't get as passionate as I used when they lose because it has potential to be brutal. Maybe it's a good thing Herm & Carl sucked the life out of the game for me. Kind of like be desensitized to war.

Mr. Arrowhead 09-04-2009 06:47 AM

If thigpen starts, i wont watch, he'll compete more to the ravens than he will to the chiefs

EyePod 09-04-2009 06:47 AM

Well, at least all of our QB's are better than Huard? I mean, they don't curl up in the fetal position when there's a blitz... at least they move a little before they get sacked. And I vote for Croyle. I've been really pleased with how he looks. He's taken a few good shots and gotten right back up. Last night, at least 3 of his passes were oh Bowe's fingertips. You can't blame the QB for that. He put the ball where only his WR could make a play.

Unlike Thigpen who throws the ball about 10 yards short so Lelie has to stop, catch it, and get tackled instead of catching it in stride for a TD..

How about death, is that an option?

Inspector 09-04-2009 06:51 AM

Whatever QB we can sign over the next week?

Inspector 09-04-2009 06:51 AM

My grandmother died many years ago, otherwise I'd give her a shot.

Aw heck, try her anyway.

This honestly wouldnt shock me at all. This roster will likely add a few players next week.

suds79 09-04-2009 06:54 AM

Croyle.

When he gets hurt, Gutierrez. Seems like he at least goes through his reads.

3rd option - Thigpen. That guy just flat out can't pass.

Alphaman 09-04-2009 06:57 AM

Croyle. Thigpen is horrible. Croyle needs to learn some touch on passes over the top, but he's got a good arm and throws a nice pass. We'll need to do some boots and rollouts to buy him time as well as alot of screens to offset the heavy pass rush.

I don't expect Thigpen to be on the roster after Saturday.

redfan 09-04-2009 07:04 AM

I think Cassel isn't as hurt as everyone thinks. Haley won't give anything away to the Raisins, but if Cassel can't go, Croyle should be out there. Then, when Croyle gets bent in half, Gutierrez should get a look. At least both Croyle and Guts stepped up in the pocket when pressured. Sometimes I wonder whats going on in Thigs brain.

Remember the good ol days when the Chiefs offensive line and T-Rich made Ray Ray whine??? That made my day.

Maybe, but how would we ever convince Seattle to let us borrow him for the weekend? Besides, I hear Curry can't hit the deep out route.

The Franchise 09-04-2009 09:27 AM

I heard Tavaris Jackson is available.

Chiefnj2 09-04-2009 09:32 AM

If Cassel is out, it has to be Croyle. Haley better call a game that doesn't call for him to hold onto the ball for more than a 3 step drop.

I just realized I wrote Thigpen, when I meant Croyle. Thigpen shouldn't be on the 53 man roster.

Lumpy 09-04-2009 09:34 AM

It's a shame we can't put them both at the line, snap 2 balls, and hope for the best.

MahiMike 09-04-2009 09:37 AM

Time to see what Croyle can do with the 1st team. Good luck!

CaliforniaChief 09-04-2009 09:41 AM

Brodie without a doubt. You can't look at it from a viewpoint of fear. You have to put your best guy out there.

So, Cassel if he's healthy. Then Brodie. Then Gutierrez. Then Colquitt.

Broncofan7 09-04-2009 10:14 AM

Len Dawson.

RealSNR 09-04-2009 10:28 AM

I don't get why people are like, "but Croyle might get injured..."

So ****ing what? If he gets injured then you put in his backup. Until then, though, you put in the best healthy QB on the roster, which is Croyle.

Who knows. Maybe he'll survive the game. Stranger things have happened.

Pretty much this.

What do you think the chances are that Baltimore comes at us relatively vanilla?

I know this probably won't happen, but if I'm Harbaugh, I seriously consider going vanilla against the Chiefs. Let's face it, their vanilla D will probably beat our gameplanned O anyway, and they can keep their gameplans, strategies, and tendencies under wraps for a week. Invariably, Baltimore would have somt stuff in the playbook to come after us if we look...competent out there and there is a risk, but if I'm Harbaugh, I leave the nasty shit out until they play a real opponenent.

play that black super model QB from Canada, his name escapes me. But yeah, him.

Is this the new RRPP? Pass, Pass, Pass, Punt...

DaWolf 09-04-2009 10:51 AM

Croyle. He can play under center. We need to be able to try to run the ball a bit and try to open up some passing with play action. Pickpen will stand back there and throw picks all day long...

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 09-04-2009 10:55 AM

Marques Hagans. That'll really throw them off

Pablo 09-04-2009 10:56 AM

Cassel. Preferably.

Croyle's actually taken some kill-shots in preseason and got back up. He got clocked under the chin against the Vikes but lived. I was impressed. He may think all his WR's are 9 feet tall, but at least he gets the ball in the general area of said WR's.

penguinz 09-04-2009 11:09 AM

I can't see how people even think Thigpen after the last two games.

L.A. Chieffan 09-04-2009 11:13 AM

ahhhh i cant wait for this place to explode sunday night into monday. im dustin off all my ol catch phrases

Lumpy68 09-04-2009 11:35 AM

I think we should bring back Ingle Martin then at least the top four qb's we have won't get killed and we can keep trying to figure out which one is best!!!

Hoover 09-04-2009 11:37 AM

Croyle. The dude has talent but is brittle as hell so you pay him when you have him.

Sorry Lumpy......I've had that nickname for awhile and you already had the original.

Lumpy68 09-04-2009 12:08 PM

Maybe we could work out a trade for Farve.......all our good players for just him....we've always do try to bolster the vikings roster.....(Tony Richardson, Jared Allen) Or Maybe they would trade us Tavarius Jackson for our whole defensive secondary.

Ingle was 3/5 with no picks last night. He's too good for our squad.

The only problem I have is that there may be some confusion. But it happens on here w/ usernames. With that being said, if u portray urself as a fuqtard on here, we will have problems. :p

Welcome to CP.

Hog's Gone Fishin 09-04-2009 12:27 PM

You're not welcome here unless you do stupid crap.

Now back to the topic !

After giving this much thought I've decided we're ****ed whoever starts at QB 1

Lumpy68 09-04-2009 01:00 PM

Maybe next season we will trade cassell for a 5th rounder and pay Jeff George 60 mil to come out of retirement

When did you get the nickname?

I gave Lumpy hers in September of 1994.

This will aid in my decision on whether or not this is acceptable.

salame 09-04-2009 01:06 PM
