10News' Juliette Vara reports Tila "Tequila" Nguyen was unhappy that she was not the only woman getting attention from San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman, and jealousy played a role in the altercation between the two Sunday, Sept. 6, according to sources close to the story. Sources claim that witnesses at Merriman's home said Merriman went to his bedroom with two women. Tequila walked into the room and Merriman asked her to join them, but she reacted angrily. Tequila was intoxicated, and she got naked and attempted to leave the house, according to sources. Merriman tried stopping Tequila from leaving, and that is when she called police. Sources told Vara that Tequila faked a neck injury, and when paramedics arrived they determined that she was OK. However, Tequila insisted on going to the hospital.

Not true. If you go on her twitter the night before the incident she posted a picture of herself with the caption, "Me getting tipsy before the game"

I got suckered into watching a few episodes of her show, and I don't recall her not getting wasted and making out with multiple cast members.

I think the only thing Merriman did wrong was hanging out with the wrong people. That dude is under enough scrutiny due to his steroid issue, the last thing he needs is to be surrounded by shady characters.

Reminds me of some shit I went through with one of my wife's FORMER friends and coworkers. Older woman but very hot, 5 foot nothing, great body, sort of looked like Marlo Thomas. Seemed ditzy but nice. Anyway, her and my wife are out at a karaoke bar one night (she's driving). I get a call from my wife at 2:00 a.m. saying that her friend is completely plowed and being a beligerent bitch, and she needs me to pick them both up. This is a ****ing work night, too. So I get over there, and her friend is sitting on the curb, has pissed herself, and won't give up her car keys. Cops are circling the parking lot like sharks waiting for her to get in car so they can give her a DUI. I finally got the keys away from her, and then I had to put down a blanket for her to sit on so she didn't get piss on my carseat. The whole time she's being shitty to me and my wife. Then, when we get to her apartment, she wouldn't get out of the car and insisted that I take her back to the bar. I wanted to slap the shit out of her. I finally dragged her out of the car, tossed her the keys to her house and told her go sleep it off. But the whole time I'm wondering if somebody's going to call the police on me because I'm manhandling some cute little brunette who is a third my size. Not a good situation.

And after that, the bitch didn't even apologize. In fact, she was pissed at ME because I yelled at her. I told the wife no more hanging out with that moron. And sure enough, she got hammered the following weekend, drove drunk and rear-ended a Porsche at a stoplight. I don't think she was able to wiggle her ass out of that one.

Crazy little women + alcohol = bad news.

Except Roidman is no saint. I have a friend who played college ball with Merriman at Maryland and from everything I've heard he's bad news.

I'm not defending him - at the very least he put himself in a bad position. But I don't have much sympathy for the crazy little diva, either.

I'm sure hes a roided out freak, but he does a lot of good for this community and back at his home in Maryland.

I'm 99% certain that if the news reporter talked to Merriman, she would have said it was Merriman who told her what happened, not just someone at the house.

No, I actually don't know much about her, never watched her show or anything. A simple google search of "Shawne "roidman" Merriman" brings up articles about the incident and the quote of Tila talking about her and alcohol. It is my opinion that both are pathetic losers, no?
