any ATV'ers?
 

I am picking up a brand new Kawasaki Brute Force 750 tomorrow at 930, was curious if anyone on the planet has an ATV and where they like to ride? Was thinking maybe we could get a planeteer group going or something and make a day outta it......anyone?

Deepwater for close by.. Wanoka Oklahoma for fun, you can go on snake weekend but I think it is too busy and at least one person always dies it seems during that weekend.. Wanoka is sand dunes..

Deepwater, has track, trails and water..

Lets all bring out ATV's to arrowhead Sunday and we can get drunk and ride around the parking lot . Maybe run down a few Raider fans.

I picked up a Polaris XP 850 with power steering this summer and have rode the heck out of it. The first thing I do when I get ANY atv, is buzz off the factory tires and buzz on some Maxxis Bighorns. It's like night and day. I also hang an extra stout winch on the front of my ATV's. I put a 3500 on the front of this one.

I also have a Yamaha Grizzly 660 for my wife to zip around on and I always take it along on other trips on the trailer as a backup.

As far as where I ride:

All over the Beartooth mountains, along with a few other mountain ranges around here.

Not sure how long it would take to ride to KC from Wyoming, as my trailer is broke. But I'd be willing to try if someone want to make a 1,0000 mile trail ride via ATV. :D

Yeah, that would be one hell of a trip, but gas for my V-10 Ford Super Duty would be a total bitch pulling my big trailer. The thing is, they need to come to us. We have the mountains, kick ass fishing and a grizzly or two just to keep it exciting. :D

BTW: What is wrong with your trailer??

Hey, on a side note JOhn, do you know where Nye, MT is? I have to run up there for one of my sales calls today. It would seem that some of the best fishing in MT is also up in that area along the Stillwater river. The sales call will only take about a half an hour. Odds of me throwing in my fly rod?? :)

My family has a place at Nye. Love the area, but annoying relatives always seem to be lurking around.

Shooting them would be better. Their always up there because they don't know how to keep a job more than 2 days. They don't move fast so only lead them by about 6 inches.:D

yep deepwater is a pretty good spot.

i sell a shit load of maxxis tires, look into the buckshot mudders for your truck, they are a great tire

I will have my Glock with me, because I plan to walk a mile or two up Woodbine trail to fish when the sales call is done. The bears will be out trying to get their last minute meals and I don't want to be "it."

The Bighorns kick ass on the ATV on granite, mud and are even decent in snow.

maxxis makes some pretty good tires. the whole line. i tell people to just pick them up and see how much heavier they are. tells a lot about a tire IMO.

Surely you don't expect to put down a bear with a glock ???? I carry a ruger super blackhawk 44 mag in those situations.
