****Official MNF Thread: Dolphins vs. Jets****

Marc Anthony has already fueled the ROFLCopter with his rendition of the National Anthem in that ridiculous suit and sunglasses combo.

Dylan 10-12-2009 06:41 PM

Talk about an immediate return on investment LOL

I wonder how many of the Hispanic fans might have dual allegiances since the Jets have a Mexican QB??

Or, do Cubans hate Mexicans? I don't really know.

DeezNutz 10-12-2009 06:44 PM

Dolphins line looks to be missing New Dookie.

Dylan 10-12-2009 06:45 PM

i didn't expect the dolphins offense to hold off jets in the first play

Marcellus 10-12-2009 06:45 PM

They wont let Henne throw 5 passes tonight. Brown will have 8 or 9.

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 06:46 PM

Who needs a QB

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 06:46 PM

Pace has already missed two big tackles.

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 06:47 PM

hispanic officiating month

The Bad Guy 10-12-2009 06:49 PM

Is it me, or did Mark Anthony look like James Carville with hair?

Demonpenz 10-12-2009 06:50 PM

the lowrider pulling in the score grafic was a nice touch

Clark didn't realize the money machine he could have had with Sanchez and Gonzalez. We could have been the Hispanic's NFL team. :D

Dylan 10-12-2009 06:52 PM

dolphins will make a statement if they score on their first offensive series

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 06:56 PM

Ronnie brown TD

Dylan 10-12-2009 06:56 PM

7-8 minute drive by the dolphins ... nice

what happened to the blitz?

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 06:57 PM

That was quite a drive, but it'll be interesting to see if they can maintain that kind of offensive movement.

Hootie 10-12-2009 06:58 PM

the Jets were the hot pick...opened at -1 and closed at -3...everyone was betting the Jets...didn't make any sense to me...Miami is a good team that is well coached...and the fans have a Monday Night HOME game...so you know they are going to bring their A game...and they face a ROOKIE QB coming off a terrible game...

So yeah, I tool the Dolphins money line and put a lot of gambling points on them via my geebler (19th of 138 right now, first prize is $5000)...

Dylan 10-12-2009 06:59 PM

runners vs turnovers = wins the game...

what happened to ryans 1000 blitzes?

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 07:00 PM

Seminole FAIL

Hootie 10-12-2009 07:01 PM

man...I'm up 24 in fantasy and I'm going against Ronnie Brown.

Mama Hip Rockets 10-12-2009 07:02 PM

that was the greatest fake punt of all time.

Hootie 10-12-2009 07:02 PM

looked offsides there...

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 07:02 PM

Crowder ****ed up

Hootie 10-12-2009 07:02 PM

only a few QB's can make that throw!

Dylan 10-12-2009 07:03 PM

that was a momentum turner for the jets

Mecca 10-12-2009 07:03 PM

Hootie you really can't say shit about any QB's ever again after that Carson Palmer shit you spewed.

Marcellus 10-12-2009 07:04 PM

Hate that play on 2nd down.

Yeah, he does look pretty solid thus far...

We'll see if he keeps it up. I'd still take 12-15 QB's over him.

As Palmer has scrambled for first downs on 4th several times this year...uh huh

Dylan 10-12-2009 07:07 PM

not a good throw by mark in the endzone.

Dylan 10-12-2009 07:08 PM

I said he doesn't have good pocket awareness as well...and I still don't see it...it's not like that offense is lighting it up or anything...Cedric Benson is the MVP of that team so far.

Marcellus 10-12-2009 07:08 PM

He could have made a PBJ back there.

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 07:08 PM

Braylon Edwards TD

thank you cleveland, he might have value for my fantasy team yet

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 07:09 PM

SANCHEZ SUCKS!!!/Pioli Zombie.

Hootie 10-12-2009 07:09 PM

wow...his numbers are ALMOST as good as thigpens last year LMAO

except he gets sacked more...and he has a RB averaging 5 YPC...

Yeah, he's made two clutch, quality drives...but in between...he has sucked...Benson has carried them offensively...and their defense keeps them in games.

Mecca 10-12-2009 07:10 PM

This is great, Palmer has lead the Bengals on game winning drives every game this year and Hootie tries to credit Cedric Benson.

Hootie 10-12-2009 07:10 PM

Cincy is going to be the favorite against Houston next week...

I bet Houston wins.

Yep...I mean, I only won my friends a SHIT TON of money picking the two biggest locks of the decade two straight weeks.

The Vikings were playing A HOME GAME at the Edward Jones Dome...the Rams can do ONE thing (run) and you can't do that against the Vikings...

Nothing like persuading an entire bar to bet money on the Vikings...and then watching the Vikings win by 100.

The Cardinals were the best team in the NL...they got swept in the playoffs...it's bullshit...the playoffs are a total crapshoot. If you put the Royals in the postseason...they'd win a series or two every once in a while...and shit, with Greinke...who knows.

mecca is gushing over a QB that has a 77 QB rating...if Cassel had those numbers (even with the nice game ending drives) I guarantee he wouldn't be gushing over him.

Dylan 10-12-2009 07:27 PM

maybe mark should try throwing a deep to braylon -- to get something going

i'm still waiting for Ryan's dominating blitzing Jets defense to show up LMAO

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 07:29 PM

That one's on Keller, but he's made a couple of inaccurate throws he has to fix, or the Jets will be in a hole.

In honor of former Cub Marquis' collapse, I thought it might be funny to play some of ****tard Hootie's greatest hits about the St. Louis Cardinals:

On the Cardinals farm system:

<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> Originally Posted by Baby Got Grbac http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/image...s/viewpost.gif
Who? Who? Who? Who?

Colby Rasmus is the only one of those that will ever amount to anything. He's the only top prospect the Cardinals have.

Some farm system!!!!!!!!11

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
11 months later that same farm system landed Matt Holiday and Mark DeRosa.

Quote:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> Originally Posted by Baby Got Grbac http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/image...s/viewpost.gif
The Cubs built the perfect team...

Big Z, Harden and Dempster in the playoffs...

You win with the bullpen and your bench down the stretch...who has a better bullpen or bench than the Cubs?

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
The Cubs went 0-3. Those pitchers are a combined 27-23 with ERAs of 3.68, 3.91, and 4.09.

On the Cubs being built for the future:

YOU GOT BLANCO'D!

Back to the farm system...

We are set at LF, RF, 3rd, SS, 2nd, 1st, C and have a damn good pitching staff...

so have fun with your one top prospect and 5 other stiffs that might turn out but probably not...

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
ROFLCopter.

As I said in response:

"You better savor this year because you guys are going to need a massive rebuild and soon."

WilliamTheIrish 10-12-2009 07:33 PM

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2009 07:34 PM

When has he had a defense on the other side of him to keep him from having to score so many points? He really hasn't. Except for this year. and the Saints are 4-0. Go figure.

You are crazy. Brees is a very good QB. Easily in the top 10. Just because he can throw 4,000 yards, doesn't mean he's just a "fantasy" QB. He has excellent footwork, solid mechanics, and is a very smart QB.

DeezNutz 10-12-2009 07:39 PM

Sure-Oz 10-12-2009 07:39 PM

Nice catch by edwards

Dylan 10-12-2009 07:39 PM

Right here:

Drew Brees

On January 13, 2007, in his first playoff game for New Orleans, Brees was 20-32 in passing attempts with 1 touchdown and no interceptions vs. the Philadelphia Eagles in the Louisiana Superdome.

On January 21, 2007, Brees led the Saints to the franchise's first NFC Championship Game against the Chicago Bears. Though he completed 27 of 49 passes for 354 yards, and two touchdowns, Brees committed three costly turnovers. He was also penalized for an intentional grounding in the endzone, resulting in a safety. The Saints eventually lost to the Bears, 39-14.[6] After the season, Brees dislocated his left elbow during the first quarter of the 2007 Pro Bowl.[7] Despite not reaching the Super Bowl, the season was seen as a success for the team that was still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina and finished last in the division a year ago at 3-13.

Brees had his chance to lead his team.

Fantasy QB
