Continuing to fly under the radar, unbeaten Kansas looks to extend its record to 6-0 when it travels to Colorado. Todd Reesing, Kerry Meier and Dezmon Briscoe continue to rewrite the Jayhawks' record book. The Buffaloes will be making a change at quarterback, starting sophomore Tyler Hansen in place of three-year starter (and coach's son) Cody Hawkins.

CU might actually challenge now that Hawkins is out.

Well, if this is true, that Cody ****ing Hawkins is finally being benched, then Colorado's chances of winning has increased.

I'm pretty sure it has. Dude got pulled with a lot of time left in the UT game.

He didn't do too bad for a couple years. They did some good things early.

All the talk out here is that they haven't been able to recruit a good QB because he brought his son in and installed him at QB. No one wants to come here because the thought is they couldn't beat out Cody no matter how badly he plays.

I think the boosters got to him and said bench him or you're gone.

However, I think CU has more problems than just the QB.

It's been long overdue. Colorado better hope that it wasn't too late.

I hadn't heard that about the boosters, I figured it was just a last ditch effort to spark his team and save his job.

There has been a lot of talk on sports radio about getting to the top contributors about buying out his contract and that CU doesn't have the deep pockets of a Texas or USC.

Don't know if the talking heads know anything more than the rest of us.

I imagine it is the best thing for CU if Hawkins leaves.

KU should be able to whoop up on CU. Then again, I thought KU was gonna whoop ISU last week. Its obvious that KU played like crap on defense last week and for a lot of the game against So. Miss. CU has been known to play well in Boulder. I'm hoping we can overcome that. CU is not very good this year, but they were ahead of Texas at halftime last week. There are no guarantees.

Mangino talked this week as if the coaches were giving their defensive players too much information. Talked about simplifying things. I hope that is the case. This defense looked good early on (albeit against lesser competition) but has looked crappy as of late. Hopefully, they will get it turned around. Mangino had to take an active role last year to help the defense. If this becomes a pattern, we may need a new DC.

The defense hasn't been very good since Young left. Now he as come back to Oklahoma State.

BS! Everyone talks about Young leaving, but I don't buy it. That 2006 defense sucked. At least as far as pass defense. They still need talent.

OU is most likely going to spank KU down next weekend...

Defense was really good for OU. We'll see if our OL is worth a shit. My guess is no. In order to win, I think KU has to force a couple turnovers and make the tackles in space. The freshman made a few mistakes today.

Lets worry 'bout CU first.

I think the OL is talented this year. Sure, they lack experience, but they are athletic. But they have not see a defense like OU's. Should be a good test next week. But let's try to get out of Boulder this week unscathed.

0-0 first quarter. Reesing just threw it a slight bit to far to convert the 3rd and 4. Offense appears a little out of sync so far.

They called the CU recovery pretty quickly.

Yep. I noticed that he was getting double teamed almost every play against Iowa State last week. That tells you what other teams think of him. Just need Ongyebule to be consistent every week so that we can have book end rushers.
