Could we beat the tennessee Titans?

We did get a win before them. Our schedules have been equally difficult.
Their secondary is horrid right now.their recievers drop more balls than anyone in the league.

Just curious, what would you say? And give me a score.

Mama Hip Rockets 10-18-2009 04:15 PM

hell yes. 6 to 3.

KC Jones 10-18-2009 04:18 PM

could we? yes.

would we? no.

LaChapelle 10-18-2009 04:25 PM

The viewers lose
Beaten by the Chiefs in your house is pretty ****ing bad.

KC_Lee 10-18-2009 04:29 PM

Watching the game it's clear that the Titans have given up.

Dayze 10-18-2009 04:30 PM

I'm still baffled by the Titans record. wow.
compared to last year etc.

Gonzo 10-18-2009 04:34 PM

We could beat anyone in the league. We've been competitive in every game, (save the 2nd half against Philly).

KC just needs to turn that corner and pick up a few more players to win those close games.

Pink Paradise 2010 10-18-2009 04:58 PM

Interesting point you make

wazu 10-18-2009 05:30 PM

The Titans are the jaw-dropper of the NFL this year. They really are horrible. The Chiefs are bad, but there are 3-4 teams that are worse. Until today I didn't think the Titans were in that group, but now I think they are.

Deberg_1990 10-18-2009 05:37 PM

Kerry Collins has been awful....so yes.....but Chris Johnson would run all over us.

kysirsoze 10-18-2009 05:39 PM

Absolutely. They could beat us too.

Kerry Collins has always been an inconsistent QB.

Matt Cassel is a better QB.

This is true. I dont get that guy??? UP one year, down the next.

Amnorix 10-18-2009 08:21 PM

Titans were god-awful today. Once they got down 10-0, it was clear they were ALL DONE, thankyouverymuch. They just wanted to get out of teh snow and go home.

kcpasco 10-18-2009 08:23 PM

Kind of reminds me of the 98 Chiefs season when Marty left

InChiefsHeaven 10-18-2009 08:27 PM

We are better than they are. I guarantee we would not lose to the Patriots 59=0. Titans are absolutely lost right now.

A) the chiefs could absolutely not beat anyone in the league. they would not stand a chance against at least half the teams in the NFL.

B) the chiefs were not competitive against the giants

C) the chiefs were not competitive in the first half against philly either.

Maybe he's a drunk again?

Actually, the Titans offensive line has regressed in a big way. Kerry Collins is old and being a starter for a full year is likely wearing on his old, alcoholic body. Until today, I thought Fisher was invincible in Tennessee. After today, I would not be shocked if he is tossed in a dumpster when the season is finished.

Micjones 10-19-2009 02:19 AM

Absolutely.

BY1401 10-19-2009 08:20 AM

Yes.

28-3

recovering alcoholic

Brock 10-19-2009 08:40 AM

It's not just Collins. The whole team is playing like garbage.

so you think the chiefs can beat anyone in the league? you think they could beat the saints, vikings, steelers, patriots, giants, etc? seriously?

Buehler445 10-19-2009 12:06 PM

If they turn the ball over 3 times in 5 plays, then I think we may have a chance.

Sure-Oz 10-19-2009 12:37 PM

No, Chris Johnson and Lendale would tear us up

soundmind 10-19-2009 12:41 PM

We may not lace them for 60, but I think we could put up a "W". Like everyone else is saying, it would depend entirely on how well Chris Johnson was contained. They're entire squad quit yesterday, worse than our PHI showing I think, I mean it was ugly. Granted that game was played under crap conditions, but wow, it was bad.

I think they're spiraling for reasons I don't know, and I have this feeling we're on a slow, slow climb that just picked up a little pace with a much needed win. Meanwhile they got waxed.

The question isn't whether we'd have a better score against NE. That's irrelevant

The question was would we beat the Titans.

Personally I don't think we could. Just like all the other games so far we'd have trouble scoring.

jidar 10-19-2009 12:44 PM

Not only could we, but I'd say we'd be favored in that matchup.

Mojo Jojo 10-19-2009 12:49 PM

The bigger question....
If Fisher is fired after this season would you dump Haley and hire Fisher?

No. Too soon to give up on Haley. If Fisher is fired, he'll get a job somewhere, maybe Washington, but I don't see a reason to summarily dump Haley. Got to give him an opportunity.

TEX 10-20-2009 08:12 AM

I think anyone could beat the Titans right now the way they're playing...YIKES!

BY1401 10-20-2009 08:13 AM

Even the Titans could beat the Titans. That's how bad they are.

Mr. Adams has been through it with coach fisher before. I doubt fisher gets fired.

DeezNutz 10-20-2009 08:23 AM

As someone who owns C. Johnson in FF, I would love to see this game.
