Dad doesn't mess around!!!

Son stabbed in buttock after dispute; arrest pending for 58-year-old father

updated 4:42 p.m. CT, Tues., Feb. 24, 2009

BALTIMORE - A 58-year-old man stabbed his teenage son after he refused to take off his hat at church earlier in the day, police said.

The father and his 19-year-old son got into an argument on Sunday afternoon, police said. That's when police said the father went to a car, got a knife and stabbed his son in the left buttock and fled.

The son was taken to University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment. The father's name was withheld pending his arrest.

it's amazing just how trashy that town really is.

Gonzo 10-20-2009 03:52 PM

Poor kid, i'm sure the priest was doing some "buttock stabbing" of his own earlier.

If the kid was wearing the hat backwards or sideways, this is completely justifiable.

God hates hats.

In fairness, I know hundreds of Baltimorons who have never stabbed anyone, for any reason.

When people that dress like this are running shop it doesn't surprise me. He'll probably tell the cops God told him to.

Let's not assume it was a Catholic church. Yet. :)

I used to live in Baltimore. Stabbed mother****ers all day long.

bluehawkdoc 10-20-2009 04:27 PM

See, that just ain't right. "police said the father went to a car, got a knife and stabbed his son in the left buttock and fled" That is premeditated left buttock stabbing which is not sanctioned by any church that I'm aware of.

that was really funny, but, I truly think the only things to have come out of that town that are decent, are: Filene's Basement and that deli that begins w/ an 'A' that we discussed that one time in 1974.

Stop using Jesus to be a bigoted asshole. Or something similar.

The international festivals at the Inner Harbor were fun. Ft. McHenry is very cool as well.

GoChiefs, are you paying attention?

BigOlChiefsfan 10-20-2009 05:03 PM

Well, in slap happy pappy's defense the bible does say to 'Turn the other cheek'.

Like most big cities, Baltimore is at once both a wonderful, interesting, vibrant city.....and an absolute shithole.

And yes, that's a damn fine deli.

The ethnic festivals were some of my favorite events. Italian was the best, Greek a close second, IMO.

Good for dad. These damn whippersnappers need to be taught to respect their elders.

BigOlChiefsfan 10-20-2009 05:58 PM

My opinion of Balmer is pretty much based on "Homicide: Life on the Streets" and "The Wire". Burg churns out some decent pistoleros.

Oh, I'm sure he turns to him quite often and says, "What the f**k... I died so they can do THAT to each other?"

That opinion of yours is well-founded. Baltimore is a crazy-ass town full of despair and people offing each other. (Like all big, American cities not named Indianapolis it is also full of positive cultural aspects).

C'mon, people. Being a Catholic, I find the priest references offensive and way off base.

Any good Catholic knows that nineteen is WAY too old for a priest to be interested in. That's "old maid" territory.

:D

Pioli Zombie 10-20-2009 08:22 PM

I always got my picture of Baltimore from the Barry Levinson films like "Diner" and "Avalon". Boston has it beat for screwballs. We always had the pychos like DiSalvo or Charles Stuart or all the child molesters.

Yeah, true, but I still hate it, I feel all dirty there.
