Herm hatred Rep thread

After hearing the morans going on and on about the pugilistic skills of the coaching mind of said Herman Edwards, I'd like to offer free positive rep to everyone that can manage to articulate their true loathing of what Herm has done to this proud organization.

Please don't hold back, I'd love to run out of rep today but I promise any reasonable effort to convey their disgust will be met with positive rep even if it takes a couple of days to recharge it.

I think this will be a great posterity thread to look back on in the weeks, months and years ahead to fully remember where you where mentally when the events were still fairly fresh in our minds. I'll love to read this about 10 years from now. Or at least in 2012 before the Mayans get us.

L.A. Chieffan 10-26-2009 02:30 PM

herm can get butt****ed by rosie odonnell and scream 'its okaaay'

rep

kstater 10-26-2009 02:31 PM

Herm's good in my book. He was such a horrible coach that he got Mr. 20 years canned in the process which allowed the beginning of a much needed cleansing.

The Franchise 10-26-2009 02:32 PM

Herm Edwards makes me flustrated.

13and3 10-26-2009 02:32 PM

If it will get me points i will do it. Herm has ass herpes.

DaKCMan AP 10-26-2009 02:32 PM

That Reerun_KC guy is a Herm apologist.

B_Ambuehl 10-26-2009 02:35 PM

He was good enough to recognize the talents of Dick Curl.

KCUnited 10-26-2009 02:38 PM

Guy said last years team was 85% "there".

13and3 10-26-2009 02:41 PM

Herm drafted, flowers, carr, dorsey, charles, albert, croyle, tyler, mcbride, hali, colquit, pollard, and page. none of those guys should be on a nfl roster. herm sucks, and totally screwed this team on talent, he even got allen traded, and pissed t.g. off.

Herm should be raped with a piece of aids barbed wire!

veist 10-26-2009 02:45 PM

Herm needs to be thrown under the bus, have the bus drive over him, back up drive over him again and then back it up one last time to do a burnout on his head.

13and3 10-26-2009 02:46 PM

Where's my points. You promised.

wild1 10-26-2009 02:47 PM

If the Chiefs are the Titanic, Carl was the captain and Herm was the iceberg.

13and3 10-26-2009 02:48 PM

Okay, herm is a blistering, puss filled boil on the bottom of satan's ass.

Lonewolf Ed 10-26-2009 02:57 PM

Herm's plan was progressing toward an 0-16 season and the number one pick in the draft, but it was a bad bad plan. Very bad. He also seemed to equate a highly efficient offense with arena league football. Also very bad. He once said you can win some games scoring ten points. While this is true, the fact is you should NOT be able to win a game scoring only ten points. It only makes everyone wonder how bad the team was that lost the game because they could not score more than ten points. There are more reasons why I did not like Herm, but this will suffice.

13and3 10-26-2009 02:58 PM

Herm is the anti-chief.

King_Chief_Fan 10-26-2009 02:58 PM

you play to win the game........hello?

KCDC 10-26-2009 03:01 PM

Herm inherited a 10-6 team. It had an excellent offense with a good OL. The defense was okay. He purposefully and gleefully destroyed the offense. He promoted an OL Coach to be offensive coordinator (never a good idea). Even after he destroyed the offense to make it below average, the team still managed to go 9-7, which tells you how good they were.

Not pleased with the amount of destruction, he proceeded to destroy any aspect of the team that was above average. The team went 4-12 and 2-14. If given another year, he could have reached 0-16. If it was possible to be -2 and 18, he would have tried it.

SDChiefs 10-26-2009 03:01 PM

Herm rapes old ladies, punches babies and kills kittens.

13and3 10-26-2009 03:04 PM

Those 3 years with herm are the reason why the Chiefs have failed to win the super bowl in each of the last 39 years, and probally will be bannedby the nfl from ever having a above 500 team.

i didn't even read the "we shoulda kept herm another year" thread. didn't feel like cursin at people on the internet.

HemiEd 10-26-2009 03:20 PM

Herm ****ing Edwards is the single worst ****ing move, that Carl Peterson made, his entire tenure with the Chiefs.

Herm is a total waste of breathable air, he had no respect for Chiefs tradition, he always deflected blame to others, and was always first in line for the credit, when something actually went right.

The day of his hiring press conference, he learned that the Chief's offense was going to be an obsticle to making this HIS team. So, he paid Gaethers to take out Trent Green, in order to cut the head off of the snake.

Herm was an embarrassment to this organization, but at least he got me to quit caring so much. I wouldn't piss on him to put out his fire.

I've never trusted Herm, and I never will. I can never forgive him for the death of my boy, Larry Johnson. It seems to me WPI's mission to escort Herm and Carl to a playoff win is problematic at best. Nick says this could be an historic occasion and I'd like to believe him, but how on Earth can history get past people like me?

Extra Point 10-26-2009 04:36 PM

Preparation Herm v2.0 isn't working too slick, either. Take 2 "Get over it"'s and call me in the morning, during team film.

Herm Edwards: Making Arrowhead Stadium a friendly place for AFC West teams.

I hate herm so much that I almost cancelled my subscription to ESPN so I would never have to see his poo face ever again. He was crap and contributed to our crapness. Then I realized that I don't have espn, just AFN, and they show shows from espn, and I cant cancel it because its free. But the thought was there....

Bunit 10-26-2009 04:46 PM

Just let me say that he and his gay lover carl fugged this team up beyond belief. Out talent level is so shitty that it is beyond shitty. Again Herm, if you are out there, fuck you, and I hate you. Nough said.

flowers shouldn't be on an NFL roster. WTF dude

Johnny Vegas 10-26-2009 04:54 PM

herm wasted draft picks on players who have now been cut. Oh and he was always giving the ball back to players like Brett Favre while we hold a lead in the game and end up losing it.

WhitiE 10-26-2009 04:56 PM

herm got carl canned.... but he depleted our roster of talent.....

If Herm were a horse, we would have taken him out back and shot his ass! Because anything that lame, needs to be put down.

Yet, according to Herm himself, our roster was 85% complete. What a moron. He did more damage in less time than anyone I can remember and it even cost us a draft pick to get him. Un-****ing - Believable!

I was so against the JA trade for many reasons, one of which was Herm would play a large part in drafting the players we got in that deal. Well look how that turned out...

Tyson Jackson and the 3,4,5,6,7 all shit picks. Biggest waste of money and top 3 pick, Tyson Jackson. Flowers, D Bowe and our punter are good picks.

Herm was the quintessential catalyst for mediocrity, he achieved this fabled title by asking nothing more than friendship from each of his players. His players loved the cuddly Herm for this reason, because after getting crushed on the field they could always find the loving arms of Herm after the game. In his comforting arms he would soothe their sorrows with a coddling "It's okay!"

This bred mentality of mediocrity will only leave this team after a seemingly interminable year, (Or two) of ass-kickings on sundays and the practice field.

Herm was the worst coach hire in 25 years. Rick Vineteri may have had the worst record at 2-17, but Herm destroyed *two* franchises back to back. He destroyed the Jets (That were a playoff caliber team when he inherited them) AND destroyed the Chiefs.

Eric Mangini is now challenging to do the same feat with the Browns. JoPo has named him the worst hire in 25 years, but JoPo always had a soft spot for Herm. I think it was pity more than anything.

Here's JoPo's list of the worst coaching hires of recent vintage. How Herm is missing from this list is inexplicable. Maybe he just didn't want to be seen bashing the town he came from, other than the quick reference to the fact that we have a terrible team. Gee, who was responsible for that?

Here's JoPo's piece for SI:

Give me a break.

The Jets would have been a fine team if Mangini didn't rely exclusively on Pennington and they didn't move to a 4-3.

The Chiefs were a wreck after 2005 regardless of who was coach due to 5 years of really horrendous moves by the front office.

Herm made some poor coaching decisions. But to say he destroyed the two teams he coached is completely ridiculous. And to say he's one of the worst of all times is gross exaggeration.
